Saturday is a Special Day!

I'm sorry it's been a few weeks since I've posted.  I'll talk about my last 2 Saturdays - they were very special and fun days.

The Saturday before Mother's Day was Birthmother's Day and we met up with Miss Amanda at Liberty Park.  We played on the blanket, and then went to play on the swings.

Did I tell you how much I love to play on the swings?
It sure was fun to hang out with Miss Amanda - love you!
We also had a fun Mother's Day - Daddy and me made Mommy some blueberry waffles for breakfast!  Sorry - no picture!

This Saturday was a VERY busy day!  We woke up very early to go to the neighborhood appreciation day.  We went to the church, had some cereal and bananas, and then weeded around the church with the Primary kids.  I had a lot of fun watching the kids!
Then we went to Grandma Great's 90th birthday party.  Happy Birthday Grandma Great!
Then we went to Margeaux and Eldon's house for a BBQ.  I found out that I really like to play on the piano.  Maybe one day I'll be a great concert pianist!
I also love to talk on the phone.  Maybe I'll be a great salesman one day!
Diesel, the dog, also had fun playing with me.  I kept chasing him around, and then he'd come and lick my face.  It was so very silly!  Maybe I'll be a veterinarian one day!

Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

I thought it was a very fun holiday.  The neighborhood kids got together and hit a pinata at the park - it had candy and other fun little toys inside!
We also went to Scout-a-Rama.  I sure can't wait til I'm older to play with all the fun things they had at the booths!
Then we got on the TRAX train and rode downtown - this was my first time on TRAX.  I was more excited to play with Grandma's necklace.
We went to go see City Creek.  There were lots of people outside.  It was fun watching the kids playing in the fountains.  Daddy really wanted it to rain so that he could see the ceiling close.  Maybe next time, daddy!
Then we went to dinner at the food court, and they had a fun little place for me to play!
All in all, a very fun day!  In other news, I've been trying to build up my intellect by reading books, such as, "That's Not My Dragon!", "That's Not My Pirate!", and "That's Not My Monkey!"  They are very informative books, as I am learning textures, such as fuzzy, prickly, smooth, and bumpy.
When I'm not reading, I also spend time watching TV with daddy.  He and I both like the same shows - "Yo Gabba Gabba", "Bubble Guppies", and "The Simpsons".
I also am enjoying trying new foods.  This was my new food of the night - a sucker!
I have also been practicing my kissing.  I think I'm a great kisser.  (Mabel - wink, wink!)
