Reorganizing

Brady is a big help in the kitchen.
The other day he reorganized a cabinet for me.
He emptied the cabinet.
He did a crawl-through to make sure he didn't miss anything.
He is very thorough.
Ok Mom, I'm all done.
Yeah, that's so much better.

We're Growing!

Brady is going to be a big brother!
We couldn't be more excited.
Here is a profile picture of our little peanut.
He/she is due to arrive at the end of May.

I've Been a Bad Blogger

I'm pretty behind on posting pics.
Here is a random sampling
to show you what Brady has been up to lately.

We bought a little pool for the backyard.
At first, he was a little unsure,
but he eventually decided splashing the water was fun.

Our boy loves playing outside.
In fact, outside was one of his first words.
Swinging and going down the slide at the park are his favorite things to do.

This kid is always on the phone.
If he can't get his hands on an actual phone, anything will do...

We don't always wear our bucket on our head,
sometimes it's fun to sit in.

Now that Brady is a year old, and isn't changing as quickly,
we decided to do a quarterly birthday pic rather than monthly pic.
This is the best picture out of about 25.
Braden   15 months

Brady was going through Daddy's nightstand and happened upon a treasure.
He found 5 old remote controls from window air conditioners.
He was THRILLED and played with them for hours that day.
They make great "phones" too.

And finally, Brady is learning the names of his body parts.
Belly button seems to be his fave.

Happy Halloween!

A few pics from Halloween...

Little Monkey

Brady really isn't much of a climber except when it comes to his toy organizer.

He was having trouble reaching the blocks in the back, so he climbed in.

Once all of the blocks had been retrieved, he got to work building.
Of course that means climbing the front to build on top.

A1

Every time Brady can get into the refrigerator he goes for the A1.
The funny thing is, he doesn't like the taste.
He just wants to hold the bottles.

Good luck Daddy!  I'm not giving these up!

Have you ever seen anyone get this excited over A1 sauce?

Crush

I'm a little embarrassed, but I need to get this off my chest.
I have a major crush on our new gardener.
His lawn mower looks a little iffy and he doesn't do the best job,
but he is too cute to let go.
Every time I see him my heart skips a beat.

Recent Adventures

Brady made his first trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.
A good time was had by all.

We occasionally make our way over to Balboa Island for a stroll.
We like the view.
Brady LOVES all the dogs.

We can tell he is over it when he starts looking like this...

Burb cloth on head, binky in mouth and shoes untied.
Time to go!

The last time we went to Bass Lake
we went up to Beasore Meadow for lunch.

Dan enjoyed chatting with the cyclists.
I enjoyed the yummy food.
Brady LOVED the dog that was wandering around the store.
The kid is obsessed with dogs.

The Itsy Bitsy Spider

Brady doing the Itsy Bitsy Spider.
He loves when anyone sings it to him.
The other day he picked up his Itsy Bitsy Spider book
and started doing the hand gestures.
Such a smart little fella.

E.T.

E.T. was one of my favorite movies as a kid.
I had no idea that one day I would have a little boy,
who at the age of 1 year, would be doing E.T. impressions.

Not What I Had in Mind

As I mentioned previously, we got a chair for Brady for his birthday.
I imagined him sitting in it while "reading" a book.
It's the perfect size for him to get into, and out of, easily on his own.
Apparently, it's also the perfect size to tip over and climb on.

Of course, Daddy is good about discouraging encouraging this behavior.

I can just imagine the trouble these two are going to get into together.
