The original Holiday Plan was for the greater fam to come over today for more Christmas cheer, but the forecast for a blizzard put a stall on those plans.
The 'Gurls' found themselves with yet another day of nothing but playtime--
what better time for a self manicure?
Of course a spa day at any age couldn't be complete without a pedicure!
We worked on one their new puzzles-- covering all the kids of the world-- plus 2!
While the 'Gurls' were napping, Wim and I decided to give the bounce house a whirl-- with the blizzard now in full force all around us, we figured we would trade a little space for a little sanity with our stir crazy munchkins.
We were able to use a vaccuum cleaner in reverse to blow up the bottom part of the 'bounce house."
Yeah, you know where this is going-- the top part had to be blown up using a different pump-- that didn't come with it or that we already have-- so we ended up huffing it.

The girls woke up and were super surprised to find a bouncy in the living room.
Josie was quick to point out that it didn't bounce very well-- it is more like an air mattress with walls.
Clara Rose joined Wim and Xavier for a quick 15-minutes of Hell workout--- she needed to burn off some energy.
"Mmmm, I earned this chocolate!"

Finally, the girls made a little 'nest' in their bouncy and settled in to watch some new Dora Cartoons they got for Christmas.
Is that comfy cozy or what?
So, all in all, even with the blizzard putting a damper on our festivities-- Clara Rose had a great first Christmas-- she is already looking for more presents!
