Can You Tell Me How to Get . . .

Can you tell me how to get . . .  How to get to . . .

SESAME STREET?!

We Can!!!

Today the gurls and I headed out mid-morning to find Sesame Street and find it we did!

Enjoying some yummy cotton candy.
Nothing beats colored whipped sugar before noon!

  Time for the Show!

Clara Rose was completely mezmorized for the entire performance!
 Imagining life under the sea.
 Imagining Sunny beach days!
Joise snapped this picture during the intermission.
 The main guy himself-- Elmo!
 Imagining a fiesta.
 What a great Show!

Clara Rose's Big Birthday Bash!

"Oh Boy!  Look at this place! Just for me because I turned THREE!"

Clara Rose was beyond ecstatic the week of her 3rd birthday.  All week long she told us-- everyone and especially Josie that it was her Birthday week and that she is THREE years old!

The Birthday week ended with a big Finale of a party-- Kid's Gym Fun with all her cousins and best gal pals!
The party started with lots of fun play time on little scooter cars . . .

Josie had a swinging good time on the rope swing . . .

Cousin Emily was rocking out in the bounce house!

Whoaa-- this party goer got a little too crazy and ended up in Kid's Gym jail!

Before they knew it-- it was time for cake!

Clara Rose picked out a Sesame Street Themed cake for her big bash.
The cake came complete with Elmo and Big Bird each driving their own CAR!
The Royal Birthday Gurl, Clara Rose, with her Royal Bestest sitting next to her: Big Sis Josie and Big Cousin Abbie.

The full Royal court! Oh boy, I hope we don't get a mutiny with this crowd!

After eating cake, Clara Rose dived into her presents while her guests
oooed and ahhed over all her fun birthday loot!

Then it was time for more Kid's Gym Fun!

Xavier and Gabrielle with Grandma.
Clara Rose with her Nai Nai and one of her new favorite toys--
Baby Jaguar (just like on Diego!)
Little Grace swinging in a good time with some help from her Mommy.

Big Grace smiling big from the heights of the bounce house.
Cousin Ethan showing everyone how to party-it-up, hula hoop style!

Who knew?!!
Cousin Nate giving it a go as well.
Liliana and Grace laughing it up on the teeter totter toy.

One Happy Birthdat Gurl--- And, her Baby Jaguar!

It's MY Birthday!

"Hey Everybody! Look at Me! I'm '3' years old today!"

Clara Rose had a wonderful Birthday! She has made it clear to everyone that this is HER birthday week!
Clara Rose's favorite present (next to her big penguin pillow) these new Dora sneakers.
They even light up!

She likes them so much, she slept with them on her feet the first night!

Clara Rose had a fun time opening her presents from all of us.

I had the day off and earlier that day I took the girls to a children's museum for a morning of fun.

Clara Rose and Josie love visiting the museum.

Clara Rose laughing at her funny image in the mirror.

Josie makine a grand entrace from the mirrored closet.

Playing shopkeeper and making orders on an old-time phone.

"Ahoy there matey, clear sailing ahead!"

Building houses and towers.

Clara Rose imitating the fish.

Josie especially likes a little rainbow fish in this tank.

"Rest up!"

"MY big Birthday Bash is coming up Next!"

Almost . . .

Clara Rose's last weekend as a 2-year-old--

Sleeping peacefully in her little baby crib . . .

Later that day, Wim removed one of the sides on the crib and made it into a toddler bed.
Now Clara Rose can get in and out of her own bed like a big "gurl,"  just like Josie!

Josie was almost as excited about the big change as was Clara Rose.

Even though it wasn't quite her birthday yet, we gave Clara Rose a few presents to open on Sunday.

Josie was a little put out until she got (one) of her consolation presents.
ALL the other 'gurls' in her class have one of these for nap time.
We've been hearing about her neglect since Christmas. LOL!
Clara Rose got a large Penguin pillow pet to match the little one she already has.
Clara Rose has very quickly learned the phrase . . .
"It's my Birthday week!"
