Poor Bug

Lynn, Cindy, and Blake came to visit and see our new house this weekend. Janelle and Ryan came down on Saturday and we had tons of fun shopping, making cookies, and going out to dinner (even watching one of the worst movies ever! lol!) Somehow all of the pictures from the weekend ended up on Cindy's camera, we didn't get more than one or two. (So Cindy, e-mail them to us please) Anyway, as soon as our movie was over last night, Kayson woke up crying; not a normal thing. Chad went to check on him and he had thrown up ALL over. The poor kid was up every hour or so throughout the night to throw up. And as we just discovered as I am writing this, he also has the MAJOR runs. When everyone left this morning, Kayson was so sad that he couldn't go with them that the only way we could make him happy was to bring his car seat inside and let him watch football in it with daddy. Being sick, it wasn't long before he fell asleep in it. Needless to say we're playing hooky from church today to take care of him (and all of the laundry this has caused!) Poor bug.

Time, Ties, Callings

So two weeks ago we get the pleasant invite to visit with the Bishopric which was actually an appointment for reccommends but they forgot that's what it was set for. But we sat down with the two counselors and they started asking about our schedules for work and weekends. After about 5 minutes they said there was a calling they had prepared for us but they were unsure to extend it to us. Court couldn't stand the curriosity so she asked what it was. It was for the "Wolf Pack" in Cub Scouts. We told them that that would probibly be a good calling because it's flexible. They ended up extending it to us, but we almost feel like we "forced" them or steped on their toes to get the calling. Oh well we are excited to be working with the young boys. We found out what our new church schedule will be. We move from the blasted one in the afternoon slot to the beautiful nine in the morning slot. But the odd thing... We start the new schedule the first week of december. Me and another guy at church ended up wearing the same ties. Red with stripes. We were twinners.

Don't believe everything on the news.

We were watching the news and how you can't believe everything you see. Court then makes the comment "yea, like this" which was just a picture of water.... it then pans up and shows a painting of Christ walking on the water. Right Court... umm I'm going to put up a lightning rod on the house for tonight. haha

Halloween Party

Cupcakes I made for the party. I won the prize for most festive food!

Angela, the Christmas party hostess, Brian, Prince Charming, and Hailey as Belle, Olivia as Snow White, and Clara as Cinderella. Chandler was at a birthday party.

Jaycie and Sam were spider webs and Lily was the cute spider.

Chad was a paintballer (does it really count as a costume if you actually wear it a couple times a month?) Courtney was a witch, Kayson was a turtle, and Ella was a Zebra.
Somehow I didn't end up getting pictures of Kelli's family or mom. Dad was home sick as a dog, poor guy.
We had yummy Chilli and the kids had a fun game of finding bugs in the dark with their flashlights, and we just hung out and had fun. Thanks Ang!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Halloween this year was fun. It was the first year that Kayson really got what was going on. He loved wearing his costume and it didn't take him long to figure out that people were giving away candy. He would run to the car by himself and say trick-or-treat please! We got to go trunk-or-treating twice and go to 2 parties. One was with Kayson's gym class, and the other was with my family Saturday night. I'll post pics of those on another post.

Kayson's geared up and ready to go Trunk-or-Treating!
