Silly Faces

I think Chad was a little bored at the ward Christmas party last night. Instead of paying attention to the program, he was getting Kayson to make all these funny faces. (Ok, I'll admit, I watched them way more than the program... it was a little boring...)

The classic stick out your tongue.

Christmas Party

Kayson's gym class had a Christmas party Friday. He was so excited for it all week long. They had crafts, games, and of course the big man in red was there. He had a blast and couldn't wait to tell grandma and daddy all about it.

I don't know why the weird smile

He was a little cautious, but did great on Santa's lap. He talked to Santa and told him that he wanted balls for Christmas. Hmm, guess I had better get him a ball; up to this point all he has said that he wants are race cars and 'trick-or-treats".

This is Kayson's favorite! he loves it when they pull out the big blow up slide at gym.

And of course, cookies and milk for a treat! Hmm, do you think he has enough cookies? He wouldn't even share!

Good start to a weekend.

Dad, Gina, Kyle and kids came to visit for the weekend. Dad took Chad (me), Ryan, and Kyle to the Jazz game. We were fed by DFA for their convention all the way up on the top boxes. The food was great. We had seats that were about 10 rows from the top. But we elected to stay in our seats at the top. We had bar stools and a small bar to put our food on. It was really fun. Even though we were as high as you can get the freedom was great. If I had to do it again I'd take the bar stools over being crouded by chairs, people etc.
After the game Gina and Kids went and crashed at Chad and Court's place. we had told Kayson that there would be a "surprise" for him in the morning. Bad idea.... He woke up in the night and saw the kids in his room. Kayson has just a little of his daddy in him. It was like christmas eve night. He was so excited he struggled to sleep. Finally at 6 in the morning we took him into our room and convinced him the kids had gone home but wouldn't be back until the sun woke up.
Gina et al. hung out at the house while grandpa went to DFA meetings. The kids were a hoot. Landon and Kayson play very well together, like they are old time buddies. Kate seems to be the age where the boys are a little too old for her, kinda sad :( But she had fun with Ella, who refused to go down for her nap. Unfortunately every time she set ella down ella would cry. Which I think made Kate a little sad.

Over all it was a very good start to the weekend!

BJ has a layover in SLC Saturday. It's his homecomming from deployment! We are excited to see him.
