I’m taking a short break for a foot surgery, but the refurbished mural at St. Mark’s Episcopal church preschool is nearly finished!
I had to rig up a platform to hold the gallon paint can to complete the ark. The plastic “Universal” pail shelf I bought didn’t fit the ladder, so I rigged it up with lots of duct tape. Thankfully it held!

I finally got the book! Bill Kroyer is an animation veteran who bridged the gap between traditional 2D animation and contemporary computer animation.

I’m looking forward to reading it!

I did some drawing along with my ArtCenter students last week- practicing what I preach.

We took our dog for a long hike on the Beaudry Loop in the Verdugo mountains near our house, and we came across this little rock foundation. A much-needed sign of beauty after the fires ravaged our bordering communities.
