my pay is dissapeared



i have now one week time sheet to hand in coz my "dearest" senior excetive, simon, is not here. we have no one to endorse our time sheet and pay day has been missed. that means i am only paid one week pay!!! worse thing is that my mid febuary pay is not going to come and i have to wait another one month before i get my HARD EARNED PAY!!!



feel like a lost sheep waiting for grass to grow.



it does help me save some money in a sense. but everyone knows that shanny loves to spend money. there is no way i can survive without any cash. it feels worse than getting a tsunami over your head. without money there is nothing you can swim in.



i really figured that i can live without my money. after Dec mommy have not been giving me my allowance and i have to work for my own expenses!!! transport is so over the moon and food is every needed. you know shanny NEEDS food!!! then my pay is eaten up by CPF and i am left with such a mirable sum for shopping and for the things i want to get.



i just have a total of $186 into my CPF account.

can you imagine what i can do with this money?

church today was really exciting. for once i really REALLY enjoyed the singing part most. so holy uplifting. feels so much like clubbing. the music was fantastic man... i was there singing in my usual out-of-tune tone and trying to scream my tonsals out. i actually danced like i do when i ge clubbing. just that i was tryin to keep movement as minimal as i can to prevent looking like an overactive monkey. that is the sound of God!!!

down to town to do a bit of shopping before lesson. have to do my chinese new year shopping and i have no more time on my hands to continue floating in the air. wondering for beautiful clothes to fall from the sky.



suddenly think that pink is for me. i have never in the past 18 years of my life attempted to wear pink for more then two days in a row. suddenly turned pinky and ten times more girly overnight. something is wrong with me. maybe i am fairer (by shanny means) and pink look better on "fairer" skin tones.



bought my long awaited floral halter neck and pink spegetti!!! and a new skirt.



dont blamed me for spendin money...



saw rebecca and sock today. so happy to see them okay... i feel like i have not seen ANYONE for so long. i want to go back to SA to get my good progress award "cheque" and my testimonal and then go for the funfair on 19 Feb!!! i miss SA!!!

The Sai



Sais were probably imported from China via the Fukien trade route. It is probable that in the search for arms by government officials, they did not seem like weapons at all as they look like farming and fishing tools. If the sai were used for thrusting to any depth into the enemy's body, because of suction it would be very difficult to withdraw the weapon,(SO GOOD FOR KILLING... If not, the distraction could be just enough to get close to stab with the saï or to counter an attack and win the battle.

the functions very cool. got camera and mp3 player. then can take video and play games and then also can do powerpoint and word document. but best of all the thing can surf the web from my room wirelessly...

finally gotten my pay after 5 working days. i really hate the phrase "working days" makes you wanna puke so much. the whole time i was thinking where is my money!!! i wasted sweat and plenty of salavia to earn my money... my time was put into earning that few dollar and hour. i have dried up my energy trying to put in my nicest front to face them. all for the sake of money...



okay the first pay got my into a real shock. the gave me more then i should have...

was so happy and yet puzzled on where the money came from...



then................



i figured that they counted three weeks pay

plus CPF deduction



i did not get more

but less.



but at least i am closer by $112 to owning my house and preparing for my retirement. CPF sucks when you need money to spend but totally rocks when you have money to spend. i dont know what i am saying.

today after work it was the few of us at coffee bean as usual (where cakes are 50% off after 5). linda + khai+ serene+ jiaying + yonghuai+ qiaoe+ cheryl + me + our OIC (officer in charge) MR ALVIN!!! just talked ans crapped from 5.30 to 8 and sat there drinking coffee and eating cakes. it was kinda fun to be talking bout rubbish and gossiping bout customers all hour long and then teasing and joking here and there like we still have the energy...



even after arguing with customers the entire day and listening to their weird STORIES...

i actually listened to my very first customer for half an hour talking and cursing the government...

sometimes there are so many people, sometimes there are none to talk about. but usually, it is just fine. there are MAD people coming to collect their money all the time. just encountered a few top ten cases today. TOP TEN IS NOT A JOKING MATTER. they goes as follows-

mr i-m-drunk-and-will-spit-at-officers is back again too.



these people should not even have the right to step into the building. even the cisco officer(aka police officer) was called up and forewarned to arrive at the third floor. NEVER get in the way of top ten members. you'll just wish you never arrived at work today and will regret ever applying for the job. just hope someone else is braver then you and hit the call button.



i am so getting fired very soon. they no longer need our presence anymore. after two months (feb) they will only need bout 5 people to continue the line. that is 5 out of 28 people in total. and those lucky ones (depending on what you think) are most probally going to be the old staff (batch before me). that does not include me.



okey i do really hope that i can keep my job till hopefully june. i dont want to hop and hop around like some unemployed idiot. even though the job pays peanuts. i think i really find this very exciting. not at the least boring. i get to meet difficult customers and i get to practice my temper. just imagine pressing buttons on the keyboard all day long and facing the computer till your degree hits 1000. yup you are paid pretty good to do data entry just wat is the point when you fall asleep every five mins.



maybe ill see if starhub call center has position after i finish. they pay WELL over there. $$$7-9 an hour for picking up calls. i have experience for call center work!!!



but through experience at 10 floor ERS call center.................

i think better not.

the people on the line is RIDICULUS!!!

they dont even talk in a straight line.

and they scream all the time.

there is a great reduction in the CPF building today. if this carries on... i think i may be quickly out of job... then i will have to join the unemployed in search for another one. and i will have NO $$$!!!



i finally gotten my one hour break. gotten my WELL DESERVED BREAK that has been forgone in the past week. now when there is drastic crowd reduction, i get to enjoy and savour my meals at ahmoy street... fianlly got to eat my long heavenly waited lor mee... have been craving for it for a long time. i am so totally going to raid ahmoy for all the long Qs



thank God for the rain in the morning that have made the majority of the people not leave their house. think those elderly may have artheritis or stroke due to the sudden cold weather. the elderly is like a weather report station. when you see a short Q, the weather is cold and they are caught up (thankfully) in their bed, suffering from all weird variations of petaining unforseen unluckyness. and when it is too hot... God knows what things can they come up with

i lived through one week just like that. it has been hard and filled with pretensious irritation but i have lived and survived to tell the tale. this week is when all the ah pehs and ah mahs who DONT have money, turn into ancient money grabing loan sharks and kill the counter people with their fangs. the come well equpited with bloody smoke screens and intend to choke you to death by giving you cigrette breath... in exchange for their DEAREST money!!!

but today has been well. i have learned not to argue with people. and i have learned to keep my cool. i have customers who can scream you to tears and bury you in their salavia. but i just keep this smile pasted with superglue on my face. i feel so fake... when i do counter, i feel like i am borned to suffer hell in the hands of my ancestors.



i am not going to be like that when i grow old.

i must be an educated ah mah...

have been to work everyday and draging myself out bed in the wee hours of the morning. just a new day each time to go learn and face the crowd and have to force to maintain a cheerful diposition even though you just want to push them down the stairs. i have widen my paitence to irritating chinese speaking weirdos.



when i get back home in the night... i am just so tired i just want to sleep and forget those retarted uncles that have been screaming and cursing the singapore govt in the middle of the Q.



yes... examples of retards as follows:

• govt cursing uncle that critises the leaders policy and mantality
• long winded auntie stories (15mins) of how they lost their ICs
• wide eyed staring ah pehs that can chock you with that cigeratte smell when they talk
• sirs who think they are so big the DEMAND to see the director
• ladies who barely whisper
• aunties who says thank you every five seconds

My New Year Resolutions

1. i will become more dainty for my own sake. if i continue to carry on my life at this pathetic boyish state, i would be left on the shelf by the time i die and remain a speck of dust without decendents to carry my heritage/traditions/whatever.
2. i will get a boyfriend by the end of the year. though i dont really need it but maybe ill consider for status sake.
3. i will handle my fianaces with proper care. i cant spent the money i dont have even if the very pretty top i see in the shop window holds a gun at my head.
4. i will try to become more socially adaptable and mix around with a larger genre of friends rather than rot to death without friends or foes.
5. i will try to eat less and exercise more. even if my body is stuck to the bed or tv, i have to maintain my calorie intake before i pull a shrek.
6. i will have a wide series of bags and shoes.
7. i will not neglect my mental health and spend more quality time with myself. i may have to reduce to constant meditating and and quiet time with my soul.
8. i will try to reduce temper outbreaks ASAIC (as soon as i can)
9. i will try to love myself, even in doubt
