i remember why i love tennis

there is nothing like my first love... tennis is the best thing that have happen in my life so far. there is never regrets why i did and choose what i did when i was in primary school. it has remained my first love even after so long. i love every moment i tried to chase after then ball, the times i get hit by the ball, the time i hit others with the ball, the times where the balls just dont go where they are supposed to go.

tennis is really the best sport God created.

today is a fantastic day for tennis. i wasnt at peak. all my balls flew all over the place but it just felt so good to be able to play with people who also love the game so much. it is good to share the joy with others.

so happy. so glee and blissed. love it so much..!!!

what is better then being able to sit on court and give cheers to what God have put in your heart.

the new webcam in the house... just bored on christmas

staying at home too long can do things to your brain. when you have nothing to do on christmas you sit at the house computer and do things like check out what files you have in your newly reformated com and taking retarded photos of yourself on the new webcam louis got from his prom lucky draw.

then you get so bored coz the house NEVER celebrated christmas in a conventional western way and you end up having to eat chicken rice instead of turkey and ham at home for lunch.

you clear out your clothes in your closet and hope that there is space for new ones in the coming new year. then you try out your long unworn boots and hope that the weather turns so cold it snows. then you stare out of your socket to msn windows and blindly wishing everyone on your contact list a merry christmas. then you bathe and decided to change your hair parting for the greater good of baldness

yup... nothing to do on christmas

maybe tv tonight. dont you wish there is at least snow where you can go outdoors and make snowman and snowangels??? dont you wish there is some lake outside where you can dig out your skates and go skating????

Christmas at the KRANKZ.... with one more fat dog

fully equipted and loaded with turkey (with gravy), ham (with apple sauce) and red wine (with my famous hard worked potato salad). there is nothing better then having dinner with the people you love the most outside your home.

this is the celebration of our 5 years of friendship. good to know that we lasted until christmas every year. just that every year. there are always more people involved in our "little" gathering with the turkey and ham. we have many get-togethers every year. but christmas is always the most enjoyable no matter what. it is just the happy gifts exchange (which i am so totally sorry i din have time to buy this year) and the amount of food there is on the table every year.

christmas is different every year.

and there is no christmas without the turkey and ham. and there is no christmas without you people. i have spent the most time of my life hanging out with you people and i really treasure the times we had together and all the stupid things that we do all the time and the all the crappy jokes.

we better spend more time together. we better grow old and have high tea together. we better age gracefully and play mahjong together.

there are that many time i really wonder if there is anyone out there who is watching after me. sometime there are just that many wants and wishes that you really wished you have. there are so many things that you put your heart out to. sometimes you just want that someone to hold on to even when you have no idea what you are talking about.

i have no idea what i am talking bout now. fingers are just typing away on their own.

there is no christmas this year. nothing is going on like it used to. people are leaving you one by one and the times and the cheerful times you had when you were a kid is all gone. christmas seems like it is only made for children and couples. shanny darling... you are not a kid nor are you a part of a couple. and guess what??? you have not much single friends left anymore.

the time has come for you to suffer the loneliness of such beautiful times. christmas is feeling so funny now aint it????

things get to you when you have nothing to do the entire day and you spend like 5 hours in the afternoon napping after waking up at 10am... too much sleep does things to your head. this is not good.... christmas eve and i am rattling on brainlessly and without a string of thought. something is terribly wrong with me...

i like christmas coz they make you think too much... too much to the extent that your mind is all numb from eveything else in the world. drown in things that matter too much and those that dont.

what is christmas? a festive that is never properlly celebrated on this side of the earth. or it is just a meaningless piece of decrations??? why dont we just do it right for one year. let it snow and let all the people do the right things. why why why...

christmas and people you have not seen in a long time

when you have not seen your certain friend ever since the semester started and ever since school started. there is never such a thing like an awkward moment when two good friends come together again even after so long. you will always relive your school days when you get together and reminise over everything you have and tell all the cranky stories of what you have done. friends made in school while you are still naive and young are the best friends you can make in your life.

it is so fun to catch up with good friends. funny and exciting things that happens in their lives without you in the picture. amazing how things work.

it is amazing how there is never a moment that doesnt seem familar no matter how each person changed.

you spend a few years of your life with them and things just never really changes even when things changes (you get what i mean). friendship is such a unique thing. makes me know to treasure your friends and make time for them no matter what you have on.

anyway... saw jaded and sock

christmas is a whole new time of the year. it just feels good knowing that christmas is coming. it is an excuse to put down everything you have and go for that one moment with friends and loved ones. gatherings and gatherings. is just feels so warm upon that knowledge that everyone will come together again. even for one night.

even if it is one night of singlehood screaming into your face. everyone else sitting at the table is holding another hand. hahah. so amusing. shanny.. you are the only person left.

i love christmas

i love christmas. even if my family dont really pull out the christmas tree (coz we dont have one). or if i dont have someone to hold on to. or even when i dont really recieve presents very often. it is really one day of love joy and peace. everything seems so serene when you think about it. everything seems just so right at the thought of it. so perfect.

the only thing missing in sinagapore is the snow.

i've always wanted a white christmas. something along the line of new york and snow and a back drop of rows of lighted trees. and a nice departmental store with many toys and goodies and deco. and when you look out of your suburban house you can see kids playing in the snow making snow angels and snowman. then there is this huge pine tree freshly cut in your living room with glass decorations dangling from the edges and crystal angels glowing in the dark and tree lights with a shining star on the top.

the best thing is a fireplace burning and cracking with logs and the smells of wet logs lingering in the house. snuggled in the rug with your dog at your feet. a mistletoe. someone good to go with the mistletoe.

it is basically just the thought of christmas that does things to you. you suddenly start to dream and think of the most magical of all things. this is the magic of christmas.

so magical that it is never anything like what you could find on our little sunny island.

my first night in town after 2 whole months of not stepping in orchard. yup. havenot stepped in since the start of november. yeah. stupid i know

my white singapore christmas

3 guys, 2 girls and a whole malacca eating trip
and i mean EATING. eat till you DIE trip

travel and eat.
eat and mahjong
sleep and eat
eat and mahjong
travel and eat more
take photos and eat
eat and travel and eat

came back 3 months pregnant, and $200 short. baby hard to abort.

this is purely an eating trip. nothing else but eating and playing mahjong. all a 4 day 3 night holiday trip at desmond house in malacca. free accomodation. who would pass???? and what more it is 4 whole days of eating and eating. shanny cannot pass this chance to eat the whole of malacca at all. you know me. food is everything.

i really eat a lot. food just go in one side and come out the other and in the middle it just stored up as a baby some where higher then my womb. i got really pregnant. nothing can explain it. my tummy is really very big now. it is so scary how much my tummy can GROW in 4 days.

never ate so much conset for so long and still have the stamina to go on for another donno how much more.

on the cab to lavander. late and later. better be there in time to catch the bus. poor weimin. must have gotten the shock when we told him that we just woke up and we were going to be late.

this is what my $22 coach ticket is worth. comfy BIG seat and lot of leg space. as good as the grassland travel buses. this one is okay la. me and lynn is over dose of red and pink.SHIT... i have a double chin before i even start all the eating. i think my face really looks fat. how on earth do you get rid of a double chin???

DAY ONE LUNCH - satay.... eat all the stick you want. it comes till you say stop. and stop is not coming anytime soon till shanny has got her fill. good first meal. satisfied. but want more onions....

stopped by at the supermart. shanny bought more underwear. scared period get stain then CMI. so here is my two new colorful undies. but i din get to use it. i really like the pink striped one.

DESMOND HOUSE - we were all settled in and playing mahjong whe we saw the sunset from desmond house. his house faces the sea and the sunsets are really pretty. first day go there already see nice view. makes shanny happy. pretty in the day and windy in the night

DAY ONE DINNER - after very BIG dinner at bibik neo headed down to the sunday night market. spend half the time amusing ourselves. lynn and her umbrella.

NIGHT MARKET - angels for christmas!!!!

i shy la.. but really the fan was very pretty. and only pretty girls carry pretty fans

ouch... my new tatoo hurts... hurts so bad i cant take it anymore. the price you pay for vainity is 16RM. and you do it off the road.

our new tatoos. guess which is my foot. duh.. the darker tanner one. another white chicken here. aint my new lizard pretty? i love it so much.. my lizard is so PRETTY!!!!!! i feel like getting another one or a permanant one with that same design.

DAY TWO LUNCH - chicken rice balls. first time i eat this. really special. kampong chicken and fishball sized chicken rice. plus really nice soup. which we all shared with our dearest sick desmond.

MAKOTA - after lunch head down to makota parade for a tiny bit of shopping and LUNCH AGAIN at kenny rogers. and DESERT ice cream. we tried the sunglasses.

DAY TWO TEA BREAK - durian... malaysia + durian = best. too bad the desmond was sick and down with sore throat and flu. cannot help us finish the BIG one. but weimin eat now and get sick tmr (which he really did catch the bug from desmond) in fact all the guys got it.

yum yum... lynn is obsessed with my camera's black and white function keeps taking photos in black and white. but who cares. impt thing is that the durian is GOOD!!!

after this is WON TON MEE DINNER WITH OYSTER OMELETTE. GOOD OYSTER OMELETTE and KWAH TUTU

dyed our hair. too expensive to dye in the shops so we did it ourselves. sad thing my red dye din really eat into my hair. killed desmonds toilet. damn sad. my highlights dissapeared and my hair turned black. dye hair and sit at the mahjong table till all the dye to back in. had to finish playing one feng before i could go wash my hair.

when i wash my hair all the red dye came off. felt like i was bleeding to death. looked like a lot of blood all over the floor.

DAY THREE DINNER - satay. this is my first time eating satay steamboat. you take the raw satay from the counter. and let it boil in satay sause. damn cool. eat the most. like donno how many prawns. think jillian will know what i mean. PRAWNS + SHANNY = NOT GOOD SIGHT

DAY THREE SUPPER - all the left over from the pasar malam. afternoon went pasar malam and eat until siao before we came for dinner. the food they have at the pasar malam is really interesting and good. the popiah was nice and the jagung and the peanut thingy and the everything else. supper was glutinous rice and paper chicken and cup corn and fish balls and lost tracked..

AHHHH CHOOOOO..... mahjong and a whole bunch of flu.... poor weimin and desmond. zhexuan got it too. shanny must not get sick. must remain healthy. not good time to get flu.

mahjong table + three sick people = damn dirty mahjong tiles.

just imagine. the guys blow their noses. touch the tiles. sneeze shower the tiles. stick tissue up their noses and continue playing. imagine how much flu bacterial there is on my "hong zhong" and "qing fa"

DAY FOUR LUNCH - yong tao fu and char siew rice and wonton mee. last meal before we head back to singapore. the tao ki and tao pok is damn nice. the guys with their yong tao fu
