I am someone who has been molded and shaped through the many paths and places I have walked...I have seen little and much...I believe but struggle to have faith...I desire to know God but still at times run from him...I desire life but at times lack the bravery to chase after it...I am me but all that that entails is still a mystery.

Going Batty
Have not had too much of a chance to sit down and "chat" because we are literally going batty. We had killed one bat in our bedroom before we left for camp. Upon arrival home we found 2 dead. 2 days later Kevin killed another in our living room. After that my husband began the research phase of this story...going on every website about bats possible. He found out that they fly out to eat right before dusk, so he bribed me to come out and help him count how many flew out from the grate at the top of my house (that is where my neighbor, Kandi, saw them coming out). Well, I stopped counting at 100 and went inside. The next day 2 deacons came over for a count and got about 130. So, tomorrow an exterminator is coming...they actually "evict" the bats, bat proof the house, and then clean. The thing is if there are 100 showing themselves there are way more. It is their roosting season so there are lots of baby bats too. And I had to move everything out of what was to be the nursery because the stench is so bad from right above it. I'm just praying we don't have to tear out walls and ceilings. The parsonage was vacant for over 2 years before we moved in so they have lived in the house longer and we will probably have a fight on our hands. Yep...I'm going batty...oh, and my husband bought a batman shirt because of it.

Little blessings
So, all in all there were quite a few little blessings along the way:
- A glider rocker, a swing, a bathtub, a boppy, creative memories stuff, and a bunch of bags of baby stuff from family and friends. God is really providing!!
- 14 kids getting saved the week Kevin spoke
- Seeing family and friends
- Getting home and having my lilies and raspberries survive. (the deer having been attacking everything but left them alone and I love the color!)

The Wedding
Mom and I headed out for my cousin's wedding and in spite some drama it was so good to see my family! My grandpa and grandma both have dimentia but they recognized me and grandpa kept asking about the baby. I'm praying he'll get to hold him! It will be our son's only great grandfather. It was fun to have Mom show me different sights that were memories of her growing up there too. Here are some pics.

Haven't had much time to catch up on things...yes...a picture is still coming. Here are some other highlights of life:
- I discovered my lilies coming up behind my house are a beautiful burgandy color and I am praying they will last until I get back from camp/vacation on the 18th.
- We had a bat in our bedroom and Kevin preceded to tell me to duck under the covers so I wouldn't get bit while he killed it with one of the decorative snowshoes I having hanging in our bedroom.
- I have discovered that packing wears me out...I am excited to be at camp next week while kevin speaks and hanging out for a few days after but it's been tiring getting ready for it all.
- I was able to have my first raspberries from our bushes and found friends who will come and pick them while we are gone so they can get them before the deer do.
- The deer like my husband's garden and he has declared war...I'm not sure whose winning yet but we have gotten a host of ideas for warding them if...and moth balls don't work. We are seriously talking about a dog at this point.
- I don't like some parts of summer in the Adirondacks...we live in touristville. We went on a Tuesday down to Glens Falls and it was busier than it normally is on a Saturday in the "off season". I am becoming a true Adirondacker...complaining about the invasion.
- The third trimester is whipping me in the butt...I am getting tired a lot more often...uggghhh!
- I finished a book about the "truth about Hillary", especially being a New Yorker who hated the fact that she got a senate seat here. It was really interesting! I picked up one on OBama to read next...
- I am looking forward to staying at the lake cottage at camp...they continue to do a lot to decorate and improve it...it will be a nice getaway...it's our only vacation at this point.
- I love farmer's markets...I got to have the most heavenly sugar snap peas!!!
Well...that's all for now...I'm sure I'll have tons of pics and stories when I get back!

I'm getting big...he's sucking the energy out of me!!!
So, I've had these 2 long sleeve shirts that I haven't worn yet. They are the definite materninty wear that fits after you stomach starts protruding. I seriously tried them on only a few weeks ago and It still looked tentish. Today, I was cold and decided to throw one on around the house....and it fit. I'm getting big...like big...like each day I swear I grow bigger...it used to be just every few weeks notice a little change. Not any more. It's all downhill from here.
I've also been so tired the last week...like I could fall asleep at random times and not wake up forever...I just got up from a nap and I'm ready to take another one.
I will take a belly shot soon....actually I'll have Kevin take it.
Oh...here are some other realizations...

Oh...here are some other realizations...
- Seriously...shaving my legs...doing ok now but on the edge of not being so comfortable.
- Anything to do with my feet...lotion, cutting nails, tying shoes...am I going to be an invalid?
- Getting the wash out of the washer...seriously...the laundry room is small and the washing machine is deep.
- Getting down the side aisle at church...it's an old church...the side aisles are narrow...won't be using them soon.
- Eating...my stomach is already starting to become a catch all for my crumbs...soon it will be a nice little table.
I'm sure there is more to come!
