Do not worry! We are not dead! These past few months have been a complete whirlwind. We have moved four times since May and pretty much feel like we have gone crazy! Despite the crazy we have done a few fun fun things. When Dave moved to Pocatello to live with the Indians we decided to visit one of our favorite spots. Rexburg! We started our day going to the Idaho Falls Zoo. The kids loved it! At least they look excited!

After the Zoo we headed to Rexburg and hit a few hot spots. We ended up at one of the most delicious places around. Nielsen's Frozen Custard. If you haven't been there, SHAME! (And please go as soon as life lends you the opportunity, it is amazing!)

Love my handsome boys!

We visited the Vineyard Gardens Pumpkin patch. It was a lot of fun!

Let's get ready to RUMBLE!

Catchin a few needed Z's in the bouncy house!

On October 8th we participated in the walk for Autism Speaks. It was held at the Rio Tinto stadium which is pretty awesome. I know the Farr's can appreciate its' awesomeness!

We were so happy to have family there to support Lincoln and Autism Speaks in spreading awareness for Autism spectrum disorder. Lovin' on his grandpa!

Just waiting to start. Sure glad I had been practicing my speed walking. It was brutal out there!

Lincoln was a champ and showed everyone up in speed and cuteness!

Dave and I were lucky enough to attend a BYU Cougar football game. Despite the cold, it was a lot of fun. I am still amazed at how people react during sporting events. Don't get me wrong, I love a good game and fair competition but people...it is just a game!

Halloween pretty much rocks at my parents' house. Halloween day could not have been more beautiful. We carved these pumpkins outside with no jackets on. It was bliss! The pumpkins didn't turn out so bad either.

We had to pay homage to Toy Story one our favorite movies and my brother Jairus, did us proud by carving his favorite cereal box character. Do you see what I am talking about?

Benson and his cousin Sage were so cute as Tinkerbell and a lost boy. Lincoln was sick but he made the cutest Peter Pan I ever did see!

My parents yard looked awesome! I thought it looked pretty scary. They handed out warm churros and hot chocolate and projected Thriller on their garage for trick-or-treaters to enjoy!

Benson could not. get. enough. of the fog!

These last pictures didn't turn out very well but they tell a great story! My sister and brother-in-law gave Lincoln some sessions at Courage Reins. It is a ranch where children with disabilities can come and get therapy using horses. Lincoln will soon be going every Saturday and we are hopeful it will help him with some of his anxiety and maybe even some communication. The people who work there are amazing with Lincoln and I am so grateful for their patience in working with him.

They work on signing go, stop, more, horse, fun, all done and many more. Lincoln loved petting the horses mane. It was amazing!

Haircuts, Stories, Messes, and Anniversaries

On June 30th, Dave and I celebrated our fifth anniversary. I can't believe it has been five years since I married my most favoritist person! The picture below was on our first date. I feel so blessed to be married to Dave. He makes me want to be better everyday. I have been so amazed to see my love for him grow and grow. Dave, I love you so much! If there was an award for husband of the day...I would give it to you every single day. Thanks for putting up with me and for working so hard for our family!

For our anniversary (and my 27th birthday which just happens to be the same day) We ate dinner at Red Lobster and then made this delicious chocolate malt cake. I wish I had some right now! YUM!

As you can see from the picture below, Benson has become quite the multi-tasker. Sucking on the soap bottle, washing his feet while controlling the water flow, and looking good at the same time. I don't know how he does it!
I had been in denial for a while that Benson was in need of a haircut. Doesn't that mean he is growing up? I won't believe it! Needless to say I broke down and finally cut loose his long, beautiful, baby hair. Benson wasn't too keen on the idea but a little bribery with some M&M's did just the trick. He looks so handsome! Still not sure where his blond hair came from.?.

This was our amazing view of the Columbia River as we waited for the 4th of July fireworks to begin. It was a beautiful..smack...sorry, that was me swatting a mosquito. As I was saying, it was a beautiful night. The sky was...smack...sorry, mosquito! We felt lucky to...smack...dang mosquito! It was fun! (Despite the bugs!)
Handsome Dave and dashing Lincoln taking in the sights! Love them!
Benson loved the outdoors like a fat kid likes cake. Wait, I like cake. Crap!

Lincoln loves books! This is a common scene at our house. Books strewn everywhere while Lincoln assumes his favorite reading position. I heart him!
When I came into the kitchen the other day, I came upon this crime scene. No one was injured except for a can of Williams-Sonoma Ebelskiever mix.

He tried to escape arrest with his "look how cute I am" face. It did not work. I read him his miranda rights and whisked him off to the tub. Nice try buddy!
Oops I did it again!

Good Times in Washington

Benson has found a new talent. Cooking! He loves stirring, helping me saute', and pretty much any cooking utensil he can get his hands on. Maybe making him watch all those episodes of Master Chef will pay off.
We visited a local car show where we were able to see lots of muscle, torque, and people's passion for cars. This lotus was a gift to me from my baby daddy. Thanks honey!

We have visited the local splash park on many occasions due to the sweltering heat. Lincoln and Benson love it!
Lincoln loving gettin' sprayed!

Benson is kind of independent. Ok, he is really independent. He will only eat if he is able to feed himself with his own utensil. It is fun to watch, but sometimes meal times go on for days.
Benson picking out ingredients for his next yummy dish!
Our family pretty much lives at the park. This is Howard Amon park which sits right on the river. It is so beautiful!

On June 24th, Benson celebrated his first birthday. I can't believe my sweet boy is a year old. Benson has brought so much happiness and naughtiness into our family. We love you so much!

Benson spent his birthday morning eating muffins and playing with sidewalk chalk.
I guess turning one made his feel big enough to climb up and go down the slide by himself.
Lincoln showing us some love at the splash park!

Benson opening presents!

Eating his birthday cupcake! Can you tell that he loved it?

More pictures from the Richland car show

After the car show we headed down to Amon Park to pay homage at the Renaissance Faire. Let's' just say "interesting" doesn't quite describe it. The picture below is a group of belly dancers showin' us some moves. They offer a belly dancing class every month. Any takers?
Knights just after they finished a jousting competition. Really cool!
Below was my favorite. If you can't read the sign it says, Tarot Readings by James. And there in the middle is James. Need I say more?
Every Saturday a movie is shown in the park. We showed up super early to get a great spot and take in the pre-show entertainment. Lincoln having a hay-day in the bouncy house.
All of my men puppy guarding our sweet spot. Great job guys. You done good!

Remember how I wrote about showing up early for the pre-show entertainment? Well here it is! Dell showing off his karaoke skills. Along with Dell's performance was a Barbershop group. They were awesome. As the group was leaving, I walked by and thanked them for a great performance. They then serenaded Lincoln and I with a rousing rendition of Mickey Mouse. We felt special!
We have really enjoyed our time in Washington and can't believe we will be moving again in a month! Crazy!
