Walking in the World

There are lots of people in the world who are stuggling with life. I think that also applies to us Christians as well. But the difference is that we have God who walks with us. This is not to say that God is not real to others and that He only is interested with Christians. But because we have responded to God's invitation to have a relationship with Him, we are sensitive to His leading and Presence.
All this in no way should make us arrogant or selfish. In one sense, we have experienced the grace of God so that in turn we can pass on this 'grace' to those who are yet to know Him. This is God's purpose in revealing Himself to us. As the scripture says God has made us a light to Gentiles.

I think most people know all this. But the challenge in knowing all this is simple and straight forward: we must 'walk our talk' with believers and unbelievers. How then can anyone else see the light? By this i am not saying that we must go out advertise that we are Christians and people must turn to us for help. No need to do that. If we have walked with God among yet to be believers, they will see and they will reach out to you for help. Believe it or not this is so true! I have experienced it.

The question still remains: 'are you walking with God in the world or hiding in the false security of church and religion?'

God is Faithful

It has been really busy here. Just got back from Raub on Sunday and attended a Bible Study on Sunday night. Monday and Tuesday was dedicated for sleeping and doing some house related things. i am back in office today, and looking at my schedule is pretty scary. I have meetings up to Sunday and three teaching sessions this week. I am not complaining... Every week, I experience God's grace, power and help in the things that i do. In my quiet time reading today, I am reminded of the following words, "the One who call you is faithful..." Yes, He is faithful even though there are times when clouds seem to hide His light from shining in; nevertheless He is here.
