Friends, it is really sad to hear news about Myanmar being hit by such a great disaster (Cyclone Nargis). Our friend Salome, who works at the British Council has informed that many have gone missing, and communications is down. Currently, according to local reports the price of water, and food has gone up. worst, there is the after effect of flood - 100,000 face starvation & diseases. Please uphold this country in your prayers. I believe the Methodist HQ in Malaysia is trying to do something. Do contact me if you want to channel some funds to Myanmar.
