Statements.

1. Dad does not buy things the first time he sees them.

2. He'll buy them probably about two weeks after.

3. So I might be getting my laptop after 2 weeks.

4. Wants can never be fulfilled.

5. Mid-year exam is 3 weeks away.

6. A man who is in love shows distinctive changes in his behaviour.

7. The laptop I want does not come in white.

8. I find it much easier to write in points.

9. Aw Yi Lyn wants to go to the UK.

10. Why did I even bother to include her in this post? Scratch 9.

11. Mom thinks that digital/electronic/mobile/whatever dictionaries are not reliable.

12. In other words, thick, bulky, 5000+ page-content dictionaries are very reliable.

13. I want to hang out with my favourite people.

14. I have no time.

15. Or rather, they have no time.

16. The only place which can be more shambolic than your bedroom during an exam week, is Hollywood.

17. I've decided to end my post at 17, a random number, whereby the sum of the two digits is equivalent to eight, which is, coincidentally, my age (and many others') last year, which is two days later than my birthdate, which is also...

Bye!

The Morning Owl

I've been caught up with a lot of work lately. But to really sort things out, one by one, I actually have nothing much to do except for homework, assignments and... presentations, which will only come in occasionally. My daily planner has been left idle for the past week. No, this does not mean I have nothing to do and can shake legs at home. The reason behind it is that I left it on my table and basically, the idea is: I don't know if I have any homework. Not that I can remember of any, for now.

The Bank Negara scholarship application results will be out by the end of the month. I guess I'm the only one in the SAM course who has not paid the 1.2k examination fee...

On a completely separate note, Joyce has left to further her studies in UTAR, well... she'll be leaving tomorrow morning. Just came back (about an hour ago) from E-gate. Supper with my favourite people: Angelin, KP and Yi Lyn.

It's late and I gotta go now. I don't have msn for the time being... lol.

Updated: Bank Negara Scholarship Interview 4/5/09

So this was basically what we had to do...

1) There were only 11 candidates on that day, unlike JPA's huge pool of population. This was good because we actually got to know everyone there.

2) So, all of us were divided into two groups. One would start off with the interview and individual presentation while the other group will proceed to write essays and prepare a group presentation.

3) ESSAYS?!!! Yup, we had to write 2 essays, one in BM and one in English. Each of us was given an hour to write two essays which were >150 words in length! And the question booklet looked freakishly alike as those we'd gotten during SPM (except that it was smaller).

4) For the group presentation, we were given a case and our task was to come up with solutions to solve it. I can't remember any of the details.

5) Lunch was awesome! The dining place looked like restaurants in some expensive hotel! And the orange juice was great!

6) The individual presentation was a pain in the butt. We were suppose choose a stance whether or not to support the issue. Basically, the issue sounded like this:-

Do you support the idea of working from home?

I opposed. LOL... The panels, from what I'd heard from my group mates, shot us with arguments and what we had to do was to... fight back lor...

7) The interview. Each of us had to face 3 panels... No, we didn't go in fives like the JPA thing. This is more professional (rofl).

I guess I've covered everything. Oh! The whole process of the interview + presentation + lunch lasted for 9 hours.

=)=)=)
