Dear Blogger Land:

Two questions.

Is there any way to merge two accounts? I have this one, and when I was pregnant with Maya and made her blog I didn't know you could have more than one blog on an account (durr) and so I made one with my other e-mail address. Can I combine these any way?

And-I'm trying to make Maya's Daddy blog into a blurb book. I used the slurp option (and it took like an hour... oh my) but there is SO much in there and there are SO many pictures. Is there an easier way to do it than going and fixing it manually? As of right now there is text on a page and like a picture or two on a page... keep in mind there are somewhere between 3-4,000 pictures that are on that thing. I tried to select layouts but then it gets all of my pictures out of order :(

Thank you in advance!

Here it is!

Here's our house! We had to go back down for the inspection on Saturday, so since it went great we can now say it's going to be ours! No major repairs needed at all! It's pretty much a blank slate, which I'm really excited about.
Some of these are the MLS pictures-I actually didn't get too many shots when we were there, and these show you just fine.
Thanks to Windows Live or whatever it's called, I could stitch a few pictures together here and there! To the right is more yard and a few trees that have a nice board nailed across them for a swing.
Hopefully with some of these you can get the idea that you are standing in one spot looking around.
first door on the right is Maya's bathroom, second door on the right is our room, the door at the end is a closet... first on the left is Maya's bathroom and the other door is the spare room!

Our room! I love it!

I have my bath fizzies ready!
This is an old trunk we got at the antique store today. So excited about it!

It snowed!

I know, to the people back home, no big deal. We were actually down in Beaufort and it was the first time in 20 years that they had seen any in the area! It was fun because we took Maya out in it for a few minutes after we checked in to our hotel (we went back down for the house inspection) ...she's seen snow before, but she was 3 months old last time and now she could play in it.

Daddy showing her she can catch the flakes on her tongue...
HUGE flakes!
Insisted on touching the snow... so I let her... for a second.

Big news!

We're buying a house!

In a quick whirlwind of events, we decided not to live on base housing or to rent when we go down to Beaufort (we added it up... we've thrown away $24,000 in rent here! Not that we were really in a place to buy before, but we don't want to do it anymore).

Last week Patrick took some leave and we headed down, meeting two of our favorite people, Grandpa and Grandma H there. We were with our realtor for about 8 hours on Wednesday, I couldn't even tell you how many houses we looked at... and the one we were completely in love with online wasn't the one we ended up REALLY loving in the end! On Thursday, after we got in a car accident (so thankful the grandparents were there driving right behind us!) we put in an offer, and after just a couple negotiations we're under contract!

Kind of unfortunately, we have to go back this weekend for the inspection. I'm not looking forward to the drive at all, but I'm looking forward to being able to looking at details and specifics-like measurements, the current color of the walls-and getting pictures of the things I don't have pictures of from the listing.

Then we have to go back a week and a half or so later and pick up our car! The hotel is going to know us well.

We close at the end of March if all goes well, and we'll move everything over the Easter holiday (we'll miss Easter at our church... which I am REALLY bummed about). Patrick will have to come back up here for a week or two probably, but that's ok... we did 10 months, 2 weeks is nothing! It'll just give me time to get everything situated. I have loads of ideas and have been watching a lot of HGTV... I can't wait until this little "transition" time is over and we're actually down there. I've kind of mentally checked out of Jacksonville now! Stay tuned for pictures of the house, I don't have them yet but I'll see about taking some in a few days. For now, here are some from the trip!

This series of pictures is too hilarious to post just one... we laughed and laughed for awhile while she was doing this!

I love these two

I was looking through the pictures I've taken over the past few days and realized that I have two of almost the same picture, over a year apart... they are sweet.
