Bowling for FUN, who won!?

We went to dinner (Mexican, of course - is there anything else?!) and then went bowling Friday night with some good friends of ours. The company that Dave works for has two levels of ownership, we're in the second level along with these other two couples. We make a conscious effort to spend time with them every few months.

PICTURED LEFT TO RIGHT is Brenda and Brian Welch, Dave and I and then Danis and Melanie Simmons
Here's studly himself, setting himself up for a strike!
Does he have to win at everything!? :)

"Smile, I'm takin' your picture!"

Here's that good lookin' dude again - this time he's laughing at someone's gutter ball, I think!

Uh OH!!!! Brenda said - "QUICK - grab your camera, he's actually losing!" Notice he's got the lowest score of us all...just don't notice that it was still only the first frame...Hahah!

AW! Such a cute couple!

Aw! Another cute couple!

Hey, we even did the teenager pose and it turned out so we had to post it. You know...the one where the teenager holds the camera and points it at themselves and takes their own picture....Hahaha! Our Heather (16 1/2 yrs old) is a pro at that. She can entertain herself on a long trip just taking pictures of herself. So, when this shot turned out we were proud of our teenager pose!

Panther's Game Day!

September 14th we went to our YEARLY Panther's Game.

The cool thing this year was riding the light rail uptown. Charlotte has never had a light rail until this past year. You can see it in the background!

Josh and I on the light rail!
Heather and Dave on the light rail on the way to the game!
Dave's company gives us the tickets each year, they're free!
Yes, as you can see we're in the nose bleed section but we LOVE THESE SEATS!
The reason we love these seats is because NO ONE sits behind us. We can stand up and stretch our legs when we want and we don't feel like we're mushed in the stands.
Now, walking up these million stairs is a workout!
We had a great time as we do every year, the kids are a joy to have at the game with us!

Time For Some B-ball!

Time for some "Yes I Can Basketball" again

Last week they drafted teams and this week was their first game.

Josh is warming up before his game in this picture.

This league is so great about equal playing time. It doesn't matter if you've never played before or you're like Josh and you've played for several seasons, every player gets playing time.

He's taking the ball down!

The man in the background with the purple shirt (on the left side of the picture) is Coach Rod. He runs the program at the location where Josh plays. He's incredibly motivating and talented.

There he is handling the ball again.

Right in there to get the rebound after this free throw!

Josh threw it up for 2 points but the game ended shortly after that and they lost by 2 points!

I'll keep you posted on the rest of the games!

Max At The Southern Woman's Show....

The 2008 SOUTHERN WOMAN'S SHOW
Thurs, Sept 18- Sun, Sept 21!

Are you planning on coming to the Southern Woman's Show at the Charlotte Merchandise Mart this year? The Southern Woman's Show starts this Thursday.

I will be at my Max International Booth
Friday, September 19th (10a - 1pm) and Saturday, September 20th (1pm - 4pm)

I'll be sharing with people how to...

Max International has two breakthrough products that I am privileged to market and sell to people I care about.

One is, MaxGXL...MaxGXL’s™ Patented Formula Dramatically Increases Intracellular GSH. MaxGXL™ provides the proper nutrients needed to promote the body's own ability to manufacture and absorb glutathione. MaxGXL™ also aids in liver support, thus helping the liver to function as the main production site and storehouse for glutathione.

What is glutathione?

Simply put, glutathione (GSH) is the body’s master antioxidant. It is a small protein produced naturally in our cells when certain required elements are present. It functions both as an antioxidant and an antitoxin and is a major defense system against illness and aging. Our glutathione level actually indicates our state of health and can predict longevity.

The next is MaxWLX... MaxWLX is an all-natural, weight loss accelerator! The science-based, patented weight loss supplement that successfully targets body fat! MaxWLX helps your body utilize the body's natural leptin mechanism for a weight loss you can achieve and maintain!

I've currently lost 9lbs and many inches of body fat!

I did a post when I first began with Max International. At this point, Dave and I have been taking MaxGXL for 4 months. Our 16 year old daughter who has ADHD also takes MaxGXL and NO LONGER TAKES MEDICINE for her ADHD! She feels better, sleeps better along with not having medicines that are filling her liver with toxins. She shows consistency in her focus all day long!

I'll be donating 10% of all my sales from Friday Sept 19th (10am - 1pm) and Saturday Sept 20th (1pm - 4pm) to Parkinson's Disease Research/Michael J. Fox Foundation in honor of my Mother, Joann Muir who has suffered from Parkinson's Disease for 30+ years.

Don't Get MAXed Out!
Did you know that Dr. John Nelson (immediate past President of the American Medical Association) has been quoted as saying..."This product, in my opinion, represents the single most important medical breakthrough that I will witness in my lifetime. I believe it will revolutionize, change, and transform the practice of medicine world-wide and make Dr. Robert Keller more famous than Jonas Salk who created the Polio Vaccine."

Make your plans to visit my booth at the Southern Woman's Show on Friday Sept 19th and Saturday, Sept 20th.

If you can't visit the Southern Woman's Show then visit my website to learn more www.teamweirich.mymaxgxl.com
Allow me the opportunity to answer any questions you may have - everyone must have glutathione in their cells to live! We can't live in a bubble so we all need MaxGXL, it's proven! Many physicians are already sharing this with their patients and I'm honored to personally have introduced this product to them.

The Polio Vaccine is given and required for all and we're learning that Glutathione is a must for all. I'm passionately representing Max International and all their breakthrough products! History in the making and I'm privileged to be a part of it!

I look forward to seeing you this weekend at the Southern Woman's Show @ The Charlotte Merchandise Mart!

20 Years of Love and Commitment...

SEPTEMBER 3, 1988
Wedding day pictures from 20years ago are so full of memories! The ceremony, our bridal party, our parents proud faces, the reception and the all out celebration that took place between two people who deeply love each other.
This is our story...I went to Cardinal Stritch HS and Dave went to Oak Harbor HS... you need to know that our High Schools were HUGE rivals! I was a cheerleader and Dave played every sport available because he comes from an athletically gifted family. The Weirich boys' name was known in every surrounding city and town where he grew up. So, as a cheerleader I had my eye on him. One night (about 3 years after we graduated) while out dancing I laid my eyes on him. I went up to his friend (Doug St. Clair) and asked what his name was he said "Dave Weirich, why do you know him?" I said, "Yes, I was a cheerleader for Stritch." Then his friend (Doug) said, "Oh, well I played guard for Oak Harbor" and I was thinking....sorry dude, I didn't notice YOU! Dave also had an older brother who played and I never noticed him either (God didn't give me an eye for his older brother although he's very handsome too).
We began to date and from that moment of our first date - literally we knew we had found our forever love!
Our first date was Jan 30, 1987 and we were married the next year on September 3, 1988
At 11:00am on September 3, 2008 (20 years later) the garage door went up and Dave arrived with these 20 roses for me. We shared lunch together and he went back to work
Then about an hour after that, the doorbell rang. My wonderful and faithful sister Judy and her partner Jodi sent this really cool gift. It has pancake mix, jelly etc. for breakfast in bed! Great gift idea! The card read "Dance in the hog trough today!" For those of you who were at our wedding 20 years ago then you know that Judy (2 years older than me) and Danny (a year older than David) had to dance in the hog trough together because it is a German tradition that if the older sibling is not married yet then they dance for goodluck! It was quite an entertaining thing to watch especially since Danny (David's older brother) had a little too much to drink. :)
The next day this beautiful bouquet arrived from my parents in Ohio.
We had steak, spiced potatoe wedges and brocolli for dinner with the kids.
I made him jump in for a quick anniversary picture! We got a partial smile going...he's still cute as ever! :)
Of course we had to have carrot cake for dessert...it's one of our favorite!

A little better pose! We have a 20th anniversary trip planned in January. We leave for the Dominican Republic for 10 days of beach and relaxation while Super Auntie JuJu comes to take care of our kids!

Thank you to all of you who shared our special day 20 years ago - you are still a very important part of our lives!

Last Minute Grillin' and Chillin' Visitors...

I had to share this adorable picture of Ron and Jaelyn Mobley. They weren't able to be with us during the day for the Grillin' and Chillin' in Aug but they stopped later for dinner.
We always enjoy our time with them.
