It's been a while!

Sorry for such a long time between posts!  I didn't realize nothing had been up since August.  Well... thanks for checking back:)

We moved out of the apartment and into our new house at the end of September.  Here are shots from the final days in the apartment.  The boys were just starting to really play with each other.  It melts my heart!

This is our new home.  We are so thankful for the Lord's perfect provision!

We have spent some time at the ranch but not nearly enough!

He is learning the country ropes from cousin Lizzy!

Gabe (aka: Gabers, Gabe the Babe, Gaby Baby) is growing so much and is just a happy little pumpkin.

This is what he does when I tell him to smile for the camera.

This is one of his favorite friends, "neigh-neigh."

The first night we stayed at the new house he pushed his little lawn mower ALL over the backyard.  It was so cute and funny.  He was already taking care of things and getting some work done:)

Morning play time buddies

This is the "show me your ouchy" face.

He is always working.  His toys need LOTS of fixing.

There is a great park not far from our house.

Joseph watched us hanging things when we were getting settled and he kept trying to hang this board in the middle of the room.  I was laughing so hard I could barely take a picture.  So funny.

More to come!  Thank You, Jesus.  You are enough.

August 2012

This month:

Gabe has gotten even more cute, if that is possible.

This man below is an INCREDIBLE Dad!  Joseph LOVES it when they go on bike rides together.  He sits in the wagon with a very serious expression and loves his helmet.  He always makes sure that Daddy wears his, too.  He likes to instruct anyone who will listen:)

They frequent the disc golf course that is just down the street.

Joseph will eat fruit all day, everyday.

Gabe started eating solid food.  He is not super interested in it just yet, but is doing a good job!

He is on the move.  He like to try to roll out of his bouncer.  He started pulling up this week and has 2 teeth on the bottom.

Joseph is more sophisticated everyday in the way he plays.  It is such a neat thing to watch.  We have been having so much fun!

Gabe is wearing big man clothes now.  Joseph just grew out of these shorts a few months ago and when I put them on Gabe, Joseph just laughed and laughed.  Too funny.

Life.  Such precious moments everyday.  By the Lord's grace I feel like I have been able to slow down, laugh at these funny boys, enjoy their crazy moments and be more patient.  I say by the Lord's grace and I mean it.  I am not patient, but by the mercy of my sweet Jesus, He is making me that way and that is freedom indeed.

What a fun kid.

We took a little "stay-cation" for two nights in Amarillo before Paul went back to school.  We had such a great time swimming in the hotel pool, shopping around naps and eating fun food.

Attempting a family self-portrait...

Summer in the Panhandle!

We are LOVING the summer weather up here in the panhandle.  You can play outside pretty much all the time and not die from the heat:)  We have spent at least half of the summer enjoying the ranch and my parent's back yard.

Paul and Joseph went on their first overnight camping trip together with the rest of my family.

Digging through Dad's camping gear

Helping set up the tent

Gotta have that camping chair.

Fishing - notice that precious little boot and little blond fuzz head sticking out from the chair:)

Helping reel those big fish in

First night in a tent.  Not sure how much sleep was had;)

Gabe and I held down the fort here at home and joined everyone the next morning.

We have had a great summer!  Such sweet blessings.  We continually thank the Lord for our fun little family and feel so very blessed during this crazy season:)
