Jamison went to see Zoe at the hospital tonight and came home bearing the news that after a 20 day stay in the NICU her welcome has worn out (in a good way)!! She will be coming home tomorrow! Yea!!

Zoe is an eating machine! : )
I am so proud of her! She is doing so good on eating her whole bottle now that she got her feeding tube taken out Sunday night. now she is eating more than 2 oz most feedings and she weighs just over 5lbs. The nurses are starting to talk with me about discharging her. I think it will only be a few more days if she keeps it up. She hasn't had any heart rate drops since the 23rd and that was because she choked on her milk a little. So soon it is going to hit me that I have 5 kids!

Little Zoe

Sierra and I went to the hospital to see Zoe on Saturday morning, she was excited to hold her. She sure is making a funny smile for this picture! She just lost her 5th tooth and I think she was trying to not show her teeth. After we saw Zoe we went to Old Navy for their $1 flip flop sale. It was crazy!!! It was almost worse than the day after Thanksgiving sales. Each line to check out went all the way to the back of the store and curved around. I would have left but we found a swimsuit for sierra that was too good of a deal. So we wasted an hour of our lives for a swimsuit and 3 pairs of flip flops for $13.00

New Zoe and Brandon pictures

Doesn't she look so peaceful? I took this picture yesterday while I was holding her. I am so excited to report that she has passed another milestone! Yesterday they turned her warming bed off. After a day of her temperature being watched she was able to get put into a normal baby bassinet! I am so excited!! Now we just have to get rid of that jaundice and get her eating her full bottle consistently.

Zoe and kids update
Yeah! we can get 2 ponytails in her hair now. If only her bangs would just start growing! She can't live without her precious BLANKIE
The kids are just kicking it in the hospital room catching up on some Spongebob. They kicked me off my bed : (

I just took this picture of Zoe last night when I went to see her at the hospital. She just looked so cute to me!

She has been very alert and wide eyed the last few days so I have been able to get some good pictures of her with her eyes open. Doesn't she just look like a Paul here?

I stuck my hand in this picture so that you can tell how small she really is. Last night the they tried weening her off of her temp control bed but she failed. Her temp went down to 96.2 degrees, they will try it again in a day or two. She also keeps having heart rate drops I hope she gets better in that area before coming home, it's scary to have to worry about her heart stopping or her forgetting to breath. She is just still trying to figure out how to make her little body work just right. We can't wait to have her home with us!

New addition to the Paul family: Zoe Clarissa Paul
The picture above is taken of Zoe in her little bed they made for her in the NICU. This is where she has been laying for the last few days. She never had to be put on oxygen but she does have a feeding tube going down her nose into her stomache, you can kind of see it in the picture it is taped to her cheek. It looks so uncomfortable to me. I can't wait for her to be able to be unhooked from all the tubes and machines! This picture (middle) was taken right after birth as she was getting cleaned off right before we got to hold her. Jamison and I were so relieved to see her come out breathing and crying!

This was taken right after she was all cleaned off after birth. I didn't get to hold her again for a whole day and night because she was breathing to fast and they didn't want to stress out her lungs anymore. She is starting to breath a lot slower now. I have gotten to hold and feed her a bottle several times now. They are going to turn her IV off tonight since she is doing so good drinking her milk now. It's only been 2 days and I can already see her improve every day, I am so glad everything has gone ok so far
