LUCY TURNS 1

My baby turned 1 on March 8th! WOW, where did that year go??? It went by way too fast, I'm really sad....I have tried to love and enjoy every second of every stage that she has been in these last 12 months, because she is, you know, the caboose of our little family!! She really has completed our family and has brought us such sweet joy! She is loved to pieces and constantly smothered with kisses, by one of us at all times of the day!

Lucy is at such a fun age right now, she is mimicking everything we do, walking all over the place, and eating everything in sight....literally....this baby LOVES food :) Lucy loves books, she is always bringing one of us one to read to her. But I think she loves her brother and sisters the best, she lights up when they get home from school and never leaves their side when they are home. On the flip side, Lucy is their favorite too..... :)

I took the kids, (well mainly Lucy, but if your gonna do one you might as well do them all) to get their pictures on the day of her birthday, she was not really happy about it, the one of her crying on the chair was only the second shot of the day, I thought we were doomed, but we managed to get a good one every couple of shots!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LU, WE LOVE YOU!

Grandpa Noah

To celebrate Noah's 100th day of school yesterday, his teacher asked everyone to dress up like they were 100 years old! Such a cute idea, and what a fun day he had!

Haloween

This year Haloween weekend was spent nursing two sick kids back to health! Hadlee came down with the Flu on Saturday, I assured her that she would be better by Monday to go to school and participate in all the fun activities.....well..... I was WRONG! I tucked her into bed with a fever of about 102 on Sunday night. So she missed school and her halloween party and parade. So I missed it as well. Hadlee was so bummed, and so was I. I love to go watch my kids in the parade. Lucy was my other sickie, she has been battling a cold for about 1 1/2 weeks and I decided to take her in on Halloween to see if there was something else going on...Double Ear Infection!! Poor Baby. For having that going on she really was quite a angel, for the most part! Trick or Treating was perfect, except Hadlee had to miss out on it, she went to about 5 houses and had to go home, she cried the whole way home...poor girl... Allie did take around her Halloween bag for her and got her a lot of candy. What a sweet sister! She only got a few odd looks from people who didn't believe her. Come on, really? Besides all that, the weather was PERFECT and it was a fun day/night!

Family Pictures

So everyone knows how stressful family pictures can be...What should we wear? Where should we go? This year it completely escaped my mind until a couple of days before, and I hadn't given it much thought at all, so it saved us some major $ because we just used whatever was in our closets! AND, to top it off I was working that day! I normally work on Tues but had switched it to Monday so I could go with Noah to the pumpkin patch. So our chosen destination was quickly changed to the trail and bridge behind our neighborhood ( we really are so lucky to have such beautiful scenery all around us)! Yes it was the same as last year, but oh well! Lastly, it was FREEZING and soo windy when we were suppose to have our pictures taken....Enter our beautiful and most talented friend/neighbor Hillary! She is truly magic with her camera! And my kids all just adore her! She does our pictures every year and I just love, love what she does with that camera. We got a couple of great shots of our family with us all looking/smiling at the camera! And, I am super happy with the individual shots of my kids too! Pheww, check that one off the list until next year.....enjoy!!
