December has been an AWESOME month around here. Nick took tons of vacation time, and we have been spoiled with him home so much. We've had lots of great quality time, and I'm so sad that we have to get back to the regular work week again.
Christmas Eve was great too. I was worried that we'd miss our family, which we did, but we had lots of traditions (some old, some new) to keep us busy.
Last year, the boys each gave each other one present. Briley picks out Lawson's on his own, and Lawson picks out Briley's with some help. This year we decided to do the same, but they get to open it early on Christmas Eve. It's a fun little thing we decided we'd do each year, since the presents may get overlooked on Christmas morning.

Lawson got a glow in the dark Thomas train that moves.

Giving Bri-Bri his thank you hug.

Briley got a "real" set of tools and a tool box.

Then we got dressed and headed to church.

We went out to dinner for pizza, another new tradition, and then came home to put out the reindeer food. They were soooo excited.

It was just starting to snow!

It was way past Lawson's bedtime, so Briley gave him his hug goodnight.

Then we started our plate for "Ho Ho".

Every year, Briley insists that "Ho Ho" needs chocolate milk, which he started as his own tradition, and he makes it himself.

Our annual Santa plate picture. Hopefully Lawson will be awake next year to be included in it!

Once the boys were asleep, it really started to snow.

We caught Sebastian sleeping by the cookie plate.... not a thing was touched!

The beginning of our White Christmas!
