12 days of Christmas

So fun-- we were "12 days of Christmased"    They were very punny :)

We were fully festivitied as well. We made sugar cookies for neighbors, we went to Temple Square (and had dinner with James)

We built a snowman

December 21-24th-- With the Peacock's.  We went rabbit hunting (well, some of us did...) and generally just hung out enjoying each other's company. One morning, Grandpa Bert got fancy with the pancakes! They were not only awesome looking, they tasted fabulous! There's something about his pancakes. They always just taste better than others.

Sadly we did not take more pictures. We were too busy having fun.

On Christmas Eve, after the nice dinner and all was said and done, we came home from Castle Dale to our own little home.  We wanted to have our own Christmas for once, at our new house.  It was remarkable peaceful.  We started off driving around looking at Christmas lights around town, and then came home to open their Christmas jammies.
Then we read a book about the First Christmas and settled in for bed.  There was a very special and sweet spirit in our home that night.

SURPRISE!!!! Baby Number 4 is on the way! 8 Weeks along (and dont' worry, I was feeling VERY VERY sick during all the holidays. So fun)

After breakfast and opening our family presents we got ready and went back to Castle Dale to visit with the grandparents.
With feeling SUPER sick that, not many pictures were taken.  Just this one of Luke buried in the after math of opening presents with Luke's family.

And this one from Grandma Peacock's house.  We gave each set of Grandparent's an ornament with a special announcement inside.

The day after Christmas we went up to the cabin for a few days.  There wasn't very much snow, sadly, so we spent a lot of time snow shoeing.  It was quite fun!

There was definitely enough snow to keep the kiddos happy.

I love this picture so much.. my dear Grandma Theressa use to drag ME up this same hill in this same little ducky sled. It warms my heart to see the kids using it.  I can't help but think of her and smile. I sure miss that wonderful woman!

New Years' it at the cabin.  It's so fun with all the kiddos running around.

On a completely unrelated note......... we have a really big cat.

Goodbye 2015. You were wonderful! You brought a lot of changes. Some happy, some sad.  We dearly miss Grandpa Peacock, especially this holiday season.
This year also brought us back "home."  As hard as it was to uproot ourselves and work out all the details of switching jobs, selling our house, buying a new one, and all that goes into moving, it just feels so right to be here in Price.

Now, with the impending arrival of a new baby Peacock, we are just thrilled to enter into the new year and see what this year will hold.  Welcome 2016!  Hope you bring a few less surprises, but just as many smiles!
