Go Dawgs!

Well, Since this is after the Egg Bowl..I am even more excited about the title of this post. We went to the Alabama game a couple of weeks ago. This was mine and the kids first game of the season.

We were worried about the kids and their sleep schedule, etc...b/c the game was at 6:30 which was 7:30 our time.

They had such a good time, they didn't even notice that they were exhausted. We made it through the first part of the 4th quarter.

I was very proud of them!

Star Student week

Katie was star student a couple of weeks ago. This entails her being line leader, squirting soap in everyone's hands at snack time and doing the day and weather chart. It is a VERY big deal!

Katie also needed to make a poster "All About Katie". We had a lot of fun doing this. Katie told me everything to write. This included that her favorite food is Japanese and activity was ballet.

Happy Halloween!

Well, Jack and Jill came to our house to trick or treat this Halloween! They had so much fun. Even though it was raining! Their favorite part, though, was handing out this candy to the kids that came to our door.

Here is the pumpkin we carved.
The kids got to help with the face design. Katie has 4 teeth b/c she is 4 and Bryson 2 b/c he is 2. They got a big kick out of that!

Pumpkins at the fire station

We look forward to this every year. It is pumpkin pickin' at the fire station. Bryson loves being around all the trucks and firemen. (they carry our pumpkins for us!)

I have to say that I think we picked out the best ones. They look great on our front porch and they are just waiting to be carved by daddy!

Big Boy got his first haircut

Yep...He is 2 1/2 and just now getting his first haircut! We think he looks quite handsome! He did a great job with no tears. All he wanted to watch was the t.v.

Back from the Beach

We got back from the beach tonight. We went my my parents and sisters. We had a blast! The kids did really well and had more and more fun as the days went on. We went to Gulf Shores and stayed at the Turquoise. It was amazing! It was right on the beach. It had a lazy river, outdoor pool with water spouts and an indoor pool with a slide! I wish I had video of the kids going down the slide. Katie went slow as molasses, Bryson was a daredevil and Sara Beth was like a rocket. Even Little Leigh enjoyed it! All the adults gave it a try too!
One night we went to LuLu's. Here is a video of the kids dancing!

BoBo fed the birds. The kids loved it. At one point, There were probably 30 or so birds!

Bandaids, Bandaids... and more bandaids

Ask my mom and dad and they can give you countless stories of how much I loved bandaids as a child. I am pretty sure they are a hit at many homes that have toddlers! I believe Bryson might like them as much as I did!
