A couple weeks ago, we decided to get the kids dressed up and take a picture for our Christmas card. The pictures below tell the story of how DIFFICULT this very simple task was...

6 months

She was totally different than Owen at his 6 month photos. She sat there perfectly and smiled on cue. She was just so adorable and loved every moment of getting her picture taken. Owen cried from the moment we stepped into the studio, during the pictures and on the way back to the car.

1st School Picture (2 years old)

I cannot believe he old enough to get a school picture taken! Such a big boy! I asked his teacher how they got him to smile this big and she said the photographer asked him what his sisters name was and he smiled and said, "Chloe!" What you don't see in this picture is "monkey" in his right hand and the teacher holding his left hand. Gotta love him!!!!!

Below are 2 pictures. Each kiddo is 6 month old and almost in the EXACT same position in the EXACT same spot in our house. Wow!

We in the Pels household like to have really large heads, but it's okay....we are REALLY smart!!!!!

At this age...Owen just sat up and laid on his belly. Chloe sits up, crawls and almost pulls herself up. It's crazy to us how fast the 2nd kiddo reaches their milestones.

Owen LOVES "Jake and the never land pirates" cartoon, so we had to make a sword just like Jake. He broke this one, so I made a 2nd one with duck tape and it has held together so far. Fingers crossed. :)

I asked Owen to smile for a picture wearing his Texas Rangers shirt and instead he saw the trash man picking up our trash.....SUPER funny picture!!!!

Owen (in the center with the white shirt on) at Music class. We go to Heights Baptist Church in Richardson on Wednesday mornings for music class and they have story time in the middle of class.

Owen is SUPER excited Chloe is in the bathtub with him. He washes some of Chloe's bottles in the bathtub also (not sure how this got into the routine, but you do what you have to do sometimes). Chloe is also in her bumbo which I am pretty sure is not safe, but we are in survival mode in our house, especially at bedtime.
Owen wanted to be like Papa John and wear his cell phone on his belt. LOVE it!
Never a dull moment, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Love you both so much!!!!!
