School Pictures 2013

God is awesome!  We asked a couple good friends if they knew any good pre-schools in the Leander area, and HIS Kids pre-school at New Hope Baptist Church was their answer.  (Thanks to Ashley Hall)  God sure knew what he was doing because we are so in-love with their school!  I was absolutely shocked when I logged in online and saw real genuine smiles on their faces for picture day.  What a surprise!

Halloween

Halloween was so fun this year.  Owen decided that he wanted to be a ninja turtle super early so he basically brain-washed Chloe into thinking she was going to be a ninja turtle as well.  I tried to get her to be a princess, but she is a little stubborn (not sure where she gets that from? LOL)….so we made her the most girlie of ninja turtles.

"Lion~Backers"

Leander's football booster club is one of the best we have ever been apart of.  This past Friday night, each "Lion~Backer" got to run out of the tunnel before the football players.  Owen and Chloe thought they had just hung the moon; they were sooooooo excited!!!!

Before running...

Then Chloe wanted a picture with the Lion

And look who came to visit~ Aunt Missy!!!!!!!!!!  The kids were sooooo excited to see her!

White trash water park

We met our good friends (Melissa, baby Emerson, Hudson and Jackson) at the park today and ended up at the water park near by....
As you can see, we were not prepared with swimsuits so I'm sure the community enjoyed seeing our white trash kiddos in their undies.  Oh well, you only live once. :)

First day of school

First day of "HIS Kids" pre-school at New Hope Baptist Church here in Leander, Texas.
Hard to believe that our kiddos are both old enough for pre-school.
I had a cute little picture all planned with a chalkboard that had their age written on it and wouldn't you know it, both kids wanted nothing to do with my cute picture idea.  Boo!  So these pictures are the best I could get.

Chloe 2 1/2

Owen handing one of his teachers (Mrs. Susie) her gift...
Chloe with one of her teachers (Mrs. Karen)
I am in love with this pre-school.  They supply the bags for the kids to take to school.
 Teacher's gifts...
Owen did great at drop off and pick up.  If he told me once he told me seventeen times how much he "loved, loved, loved school"
Chloe's teacher said she cried for the first 5 minutes but was an angel the rest of the day.  When I picked her up, I was expecting to see snot running down her face, but she was all smiles and ran right up to me.  I asked her if she had a good day at school and she said, "yesss"
It is amazing the power of prayer.  We had so many people praying for us that day and the kids and I could feel each one of those prayers!  What an awesome school for the kiddos and what an awesome God!!!

After our first pre-season game...we are WAY into ninja turtles at the moment and our "swords" go almost everywhere with us.

It has almost been an entire year since our last blog post.  As you can imagine, life has been crazy.

We recently moved from Dallas to Leander, Texas for a new coaching/teaching adventure for Greg and our entire family.  We absolutely LOVE our new town, house, friends, jobs, staff, athletes, etc.

I am going to try my best and post at least once a month for all our family/friends.
