luckily didnt have to teach much cos we celebrated Children's Day today, hohoho....
my kids can be princes and princesses for only this day lor..heh..
NO reprimanding, NO recess duties, NO studying, NO homework...and LOTS of presents!

threw a class party for them.. dunno how much i spent on the food and lucky draw gifts lor..
im broke now :(

some of us teachers put up 2 dance items which we spent only an hour rehearsing the day before... ALL GaBra....ahahaa....but aiyah....kids, THEY DUNNO ONE...
they were so excited to see us struting awkwardly on stage, they wouldn't even care if u missed a step or a couple of beats...heh...

that's the good thing about children...haha
they are easy to FOOL, erm i mean PLEASE. wahhahaa....
nah..

after the item, i asked one of my kids... "AEy, how was the dance???"
she smiled, squirmed,
"u look.....erm......erm....." accompanied by many weird expressions on her face to find the right adjective to use...

i waited wat seemed like a lifetime

and she finally said..."i know! Jerk."

JERK?!

nvm....i'll go home and cry

alerting us of a suspicious article found in one corner of the room...

All teachers were to be evacuated immediately...

next, punch a cut-out of a nice autumn leaf or whatever design u fancy....

and stick it to the coloured paper

Using ink and some glitter, decorate the otherwise boring looking alphabets

pattern one side of it with a pair of scissors

after some 2 hours or so...
class of 35 DONE!! :D

mom's gonna help me laminate these and i'll just need to punch a hole at the top and string some nice beady to it, and

i became a barber today, hehe...
for the past 2 weeks, one of my boys have been sporting unkempt hair that was way too long.. his fringe was almost covering her, i mean his eyes in front and the sides have grown into disheveled bushes

i've grown sick of nagging like an old maid at him to trim his hair.. i gave him my final warning yesterday.. if he's not going to cut by today, i would be his barber...

come this morning.... last straw

got him into the staff room and seated him onto my chair.. shoved a waste bin and got him to hold it under his nose (dun worry, it's very clean.. only to contain waste paper)
and i trimmed his fringe for him...

he actually seemed very happy about it (*aey, i got layer hor...)
still can smile and admire himself in the toilet afterwards lo..
hmmm, maybe i make not such a bad hairdresser after all..heee..

went for our usual dance class this afternoon..
it is the third time in the week we were back in the studio..
am getting abit sick..

the past week had been too happening, i cant even recognise myself.
it's not that i've not been enjoying, in contrary, i enjoyed myself so much..
but
it had been too overwhelming..
feel like i've been dragged out of my usual comfort zone..
to this place so very alien..
it's just that it was SO NOT ME..
i dont feel right

last night was the first time i actually dreaded stepping into a club...

Joy called me while i was in sch setting my paper (*proudly* i've finished setting it liao, wahhaha) asking me if i had denim shorts for the dance performance at dblO, and i was like, "What? dblO??!"
that was the first shock.

second shock..
the dance performance was THAT very night...and we've not even completed practising 1/3 of the dance item!! HOW TO PERFORM?!

third shock..
"what size boots you wear?? and we are gonna get BLACK NET STOCKINGS for u all...."

"the stage is too small, so you and Mas will be the only ones performing. no more the four of u."



that really freaked me out totally...
luckily i have a strong heart

but i was like, "WTH, my body is so stiff, i cannot even dance properly, i need days to rehearse... how to be able to master all those moves in a few hours?! and WHY CHOOSE ME???????"


anyway, went over to studio with esther after sch and we did the rehearsal..

the full dress rehearsal was torturous cos we had to wear almost 4-inches heeled boots.. i was walking like a DUCK cos i am not used to wearing heels...

started to break out in cold sweat...

we waited till 1145pm before it was our dance item..
abit GaBra at the beginning cos the song came too fast, before we were even stationed at our positions on stage...the beat and everything was off....took us a few beats before we pick up the momentum

overall, it was a success, WAHAHHAHAA....

after that four and half hours of twisting and all on saturday for the dance item... i think i've really over-exerted my muscles.
YAH.....i DONT exercise regularly one....

i even had trouble walking down the stairs in school...i feel like a pregnant woman lor... having to "AIYAH" sitting down and "AIYAH" getting up from the seat..
cannot even squat down to pick a worksheet which had flown off from the desk....
my kids had to see me bending down slowly with that pained expression on my face just to reach for that damned worksheet...
they must have thought i aged over the weekend


went with dear and his friends to watch MAN U and LIVERPOOL play last night...at UE Square, MIA....Liverpool fanclub

hahhahha....i didnt wan to go at first.... 6 guys and 1 girl....very FUN meh??? i was feeling so out of place man.... but he said sunday was supposed to be spent with me....OKAY....cos we only meet on wkends now
luckily one of the gfs came to join us....she was a fervent supporter of MAN U and when she came in her MAN U jersey....she was actually booed by the liverpool fans.. SO MEI FENG DU one....but cant help it la.... THAT was their fanclub wor...haha
