as i was expecting the whole world to blog about the Formula 1 over the weekend and i refuse to be the last to, i realised that none of them had said anything about it. yet.
hmmmmm

anyway, to those who thought by saying that i have had watched the race, u are wrong, haha.
in fact, we didnt buy tickets to it, we weren't even there at the race, but only standing very, very, very FAR away and LISTENING to the deafening engine sounds on the 1st practice day - Friday

baby and i went over to marina in the evening and we tried to park as near as possible. The nearest carpark we found, however, was at Bras Basah. That was quite a distance from the race tracks, but being able to hear the engines roaring certainly lifted our spirits to a HIGH!!

Photobucket
bought 2 bottles of chilled drinks from the nearby convenience store and headed all the way there..

YAY!
Photobucket
baby is super excited!
Photobucket
Photobucket

just look at the crowd!
Photobucket
There were more onlookers outside than the ones inside!

despite the suffocating crowd, everyone was so damn high!!! :D

the organisers are just so gniao one.. let us see abit also cannot meh? must use the black cloth to cover cover cover.......
so in our attempt to catch a glimpse of the racing cars, people were desperately searching for raised platforms in order to increase their height so as to get a better view.........

risking their lives standing on edges of walls
Photobucket

-_-
Photobucket

climbing trees..
Photobucket

and....
this is ultimate!
Photobucket
climbing on lamp-posts!!! LOL!!!

jayen should finally be glad that he's taller than average.. he was 'wahh~ing' all the way, totally oblivious that i was sulking right there at people's armpits :(
but he was nice enough to piggy-back me while i used his head as a tripod to capture some shots!

they should just telecast it live on the big screen at suntec la...then we dont have to be this mafan allady
Photobucket

in my failed attempts to take the photos (as u can see)....
Photobucket

baby ended up taking videos instead.
these are just 2 i've uploaded! :)
rather shaky since we have zoomed in quite alot while recording

there are cooler videos but they are taking too long to upload, haha so too bad.
*Go read kiyomi's blog for more F1 stuff cos the lucky gal won free passes to the F1!

teeheehee :)
Photobucket
caught Painted Skin after that and The Chaser over the weekends.
Both i also like!! :D

if u haven't known me well enough,
i am

The Peacemaker

ISFP
Introverted Sensing Feeling Perceiving

Photobucket
E: Extroverted
I: Introverted
S: Sensing
N: iNtuition
T: Thinking
F: Feeling
J: Judging
P: Perceiving

take ur Myers-Briggs type indicator test here.

*As an ISFP, your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you deal with things according to how you feel about them, or how they fit into your value system. Your secondary mode is external, where you take things in via your five sense in a literal, concrete fashion.

ISFPs live in the world of sensation possibilities. They are keenly in tune with the way things look, taste, sound, feel and smell. They have a strong aesthetic appreciation for art, and are likely to be artists in some form, because they are unusually gifted at creating and composing things which will strongly affect the senses. They have a strong set of values, which they strive to consistently meet in their lives. They need to feel as if they're living their lives in accordance with what they feel is right, and will rebel against anything which conflicts with that goal. They're likely to choose jobs and careers which allow them the freedom of working towards the realization of their value-oriented personal goals.

ISFPs tend to be quiet and reserved, and difficult to get to know well. They hold back their ideas and opinions except from those who they are closest to. They are likely to be kind, gentle and sensitive in their dealings with others. They are interested in contributing to people's sense of well-being and happiness, and will put a great deal of effort and energy into tasks which they believe in.

ISFPs have a strong affinity for aesthetics and beauty. They're likely to be animal lovers, and to have a true appreciation for the beauties of nature. They're original and independent, and need to have personal space. They value people who take the time to understand the ISFP, and who support the ISFP in pursuing their goals in their own, unique way. People who don't know them well may see their unique way of life as a sign of carefree light-heartedness, but the ISFP actually takes life very seriously, constantly gathering specific information and shifting it through their value systems, in search for clarification and underlying meaning.

ISFPs are action-oriented individuals. They are "doers", and are usually uncomfortable with theorizing concepts and ideas, unless they see a practical application. They learn best in a "hands-on" environment, and consequently may become easily bored with the traditional teaching methods, which emphasize abstract thinking. They do not like impersonal analysis, and are uncomfortable with the idea of making decisions based strictly on logic. Their strong value systems demand that decisions are evaluated against their subjective beliefs, rather than against some objective rules or laws.

ISFPs are extremely perceptive and aware of others. They constantly gather specific information about people, and seek to discover what it means. They are usually penetratingly accurate in their perceptions of others.

ISFPs are warm and sympathetic. They genuinely care about people, and are strongly service-oriented in their desire to please. They have an unusually deep well of caring for those who are close to them, and are likely to show their love through actions, rather than words.

ISFPs have no desire to lead or control others, just as they have no desire to be led or controlled by others. They need space and time alone to evaluate the circumstances of their life against their value system, and are likely to respect other people's needs for the same.

The ISFP is likely to not give themself enough credit for the things which they do extremely well. Their strong value systems can lead them to be intensely perfectionist, and cause them to judge themselves with unneccesary harshness.

The ISFP has many special gifts for the world, especially in the areas of creating artistic sensation, and selflessly serving others. Life is not likely to be extremely easy for the ISFP, because they take life so seriously, but they have the tools to make their lives and the lives of those close to them richly rewarding experiences.

MEN ARE JUST HAPPIER PEOPLE

NICKNAMES

If Laura, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch, they will call each other
Laura, Kate and Sarah.
If Mike, Dave and John go out, they will affectionately refer to each
other as Fat Boy, Godzilla and Four-eyes.

EATING OUT

When the bill arrives, Mike, Dave and John will each throw in $20,
even though it's only for $32.50. None of them will have anything
smaller and none will actually admit they want change back.
When the girls get their bill, out come the pocket calculators.

MONEY

A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need but it's on sale.

BATHROOMS

A man has seven items in his bathroom: toothbrush and toothpaste,
shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, deodorant and a towel .
The average number of items in the typical woman's bathroom is 337. A
man would not be able to identify more than 20 of these items.

ARGUMENTS

A woman has the last word in any argument.
Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.

FUTURE

A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.
A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.

SUCCESS

A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend.
A successful woman is one who can find such a man.

MARRIAGE

A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't.
A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change, but she does.

DRESSING UP

A woman will dress up to go shopping, water the plants, empty the
trash, answer the phone, read a book, and get the mail.
A man will dress up for weddings and funerals.

NATURAL

Men wake up as good-looking as they went to bed.
Women somehow deteriorate during the night.

OFFSPRING

Ah, children. A woman knows all about her children. She knows about
dentist appointments and romances, best friends, favorite foods,
secret fears and hopes and dreams.
A man is vaguely aware of some short people living in the house.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

A married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two
people remembering the same thing!

=)

and it's making the girls cry, hahaha!

Photobucket
weather is cool as it has been raining quite alot these days,
but an sms like this early in the morning certainly warms my heart right away.
From an ex-student whom i taught in my 1st year in school more than 4 years ago, it is these small gestures that makes me feel my efforts had been appreciated =)

to all teachers, ex-teachers out there,
Happy Teachers' Day!
=)

these was what i have been doing besides work, school and sleep.

1) UFO catchers

for the past few weeks, me and baby have gotten ourselves addicted to UFO catchers, haha!
after that prize rabbit he caught from Plaza Sing, we've been trying our luck everytime we walked pass an arcade...
i finally understood why zen and ivan said some UFO catcher machines are soley based on luck, cos really lor! some are out to cheat pple's money one, cos their catchers can NEVER catch anything, no matter how good ur skills are!

the ones at Marina Square is different though!!!! muahahhahaha
and their shop assistants are reallllly 'helpful'! haha ;)
Photobucket
Photobucket

jayen caught all these for me!!
YAY i am such a happy girl! :D
Photobucket
we've been spending our past 2 weekends there.. whenever we had extra time to spare before the start of our movies.

and look at my loot so far! teeheeheeee...
Photobucket
ok, the rabbit doesnt count, it is from plaza sing, keke

this is very childish la, but somehow, the thrill of catching the toy is very addictive!! haha
now, my bed looks like a zoo.
it's gonna stay like this before my mom complains.

baby eating my fave cup-corn!
Photobucket
=)
Photobucket
muahahahahaaa

2) Monkeying around in bookstores

what do u do besides picking up a good read in the bookstores?
=)
Photobucket
the face is obviously too large for mine..
but it's perfect for him!
Photobucket
LOL!!

Photobucket
he says this is stylo..but i think it looks like a witch. Very disturbing indeed, EEEEEYUK

3) Flying in a singapore flyer

Photobucket
except this is the minature version,
and it's sponsered by Cadbury chocolate.

we were so excited cos it reminds us of our ferris wheel rides in Taipei and Kaohsiung!!!
Photobucket
i bought tickets ONLY TO KNOW that the ferris wheel is INDOORS -_-!
damnit!!!!!
and jayen thought i knew all along!

never mind..
Photobucket
it is still very colourful =)

and the best part was
the scenic view from the top.

i cant believe i went up a ferris wheel to look at........
NTUC, shops and cafes IN the shopping mall itself when i can take the escalator for free for the exact same view. sigh
Photobucket

when i thought maybe the view outside the mall would be better....
Photobucket
the reflection of lights on the glass prevented us from seeing anything else more than the carpark opposite the mall
:(

it's very depressing
i forced a smile, and jayen didnt even bothered to, haha
Photobucket
i caught him yawning away and rubbing his eyes!
haiz

we concluded that this is for kids only. maybe i will enjoy it if i'm 5 years old.

or maybe not
Photobucket
the kids looked so bored!!! haha

Good food at Geláre still saves the day!
Photobucket
=)

yes, my recent posts are all jayen, jayen and jayen, haha!
cant be helped, cos im seeing him every single day for *counting...* 66 days now
