new kid in the house

Photobucket
just finished my raspberry hair mask and i bought another tub, hehe.. i usually switch products very often and it's not everytime i buy back the same unless it's really good.
This raspberry mask untangles my hair the quickest as compared to other masks i've used (Asience, Elseve), making it really smooooth! plus i totally dig the smell of their shampoos!
Bought the rose one this time round after finishing the lavender's. YAY!
i just came out of the shower using the shampoo and my hair is smelling so great!!! *happiness*

speaking of Herbal essences, it reminds me of the chemical project we've done back in poly days where my group did a research on the harmful chemicals found in everyday products like toothpastes and shampoos. fang should remember it cos we were in the same gp! haha We did a skit by acting out the then commercials of these products. Remember the old clairol herbal essences commercial, the 'orgasm' one? (only those from my generation will know, haha) i was supposed to act as the woman screaming in the bathroom while using the shampoo -_- (use herbal essence shampoo= orgasmic experience!)
well, i honestly didnt know what that meant back then cos i was a total nerd. i even volunteered to play the role! i just thought the woman was feeling very 'high' using the shampoo -_-
i remember the boys in the class chuckling quite loudly. Now, to think back, i feel damn embarrassed! i must have looked quite obscene!

anyway,
photos from yesterday as promised. i was late already, so i took only one before leaving home
Photobucket
Mineral powder and Benefit's dandelion brightening face powder over BB cream (I ordered from here)
plus a pair of falsies. Basic make up.

In school while waiting for baby,
under natural lighting.

i was able to camwhore abit, hehe!

when i got home at night, i found a new pillow for me!
i complained to my parents about my stiff neck due to my old pillow and they bought a new one when they went shopping yesterday :D
it's loaded with feathers! and i'm lovin' it! yay!

it's saturday and i'm up early at 8am.
it's almost 10am now and i'm starting to feel sleepy again.

it's always like that. there's a timing everyday when i'll start feeling sleepy. Around 10+ in the late morning and around 11+ at night. Even when i'm outside, sometimes i feel like i'm gonna 'shut down' any moment -_-

anyway, life has been mundane.
it's me working very hard and shuttling to night classes every other day. i hate freaking long distances where i need an hour to reach school. Worse still, today is saturday and i'm going to school later to meet the project mates. Disgusting!!!!!!!!
no, my classmates aren't disgusting. it's DOING PROJECT ON A SATURDAY that totally puts me off :(
i hope we end before dinner.

anyway,
Photobucket
my new make up pouch from watsons at $3.95.
i love prints like this!
=) its rather roomy so i dont have to squeeze my stuff in like i used to. It would be great if the material is coated with plastic so it wont be stained, but too bad it's not.

Feverlet BB cream came in the mail 2 days ago
i've heard so much raves about BB creams but i never did go try it. BB stands for Blemish Balm and it is said to be able to perfect your skin due to its healing properties. This is from Korea and only comes in one shade.
the only thing i like about this is its smooth texture cos it's not oily at all and it disappears right after i apply over my skin. Unlike liquid foundation, skin feels like not having any make up at all =) and i really do observe that pores are not as clogged as when i use liquid foundation... FYI, the liquid foundation i use is the sheerest i could find in the market cos i hate thick ones that cover like paint! plus my skin is not exactly blemish-free enough to only conceal with loose powder :(

ok, back to the BB cream, i'll still use it to replace liquid foundation but would apply a darker shade of loose powder over as it can be quite light. Tried it yesterday when i went to school. i do feel abit of difference...
i usually rate how good i look that day on the amount of attention i get from people, haha.. i know this sounds abit ridiculous and very bimbotic, but it's true!
when i do put in some effort to make up, strangers walking past will really give you a second look (cos when i go for tuition looking super lok-kok, nobody will look at me one, haha) Yesterday, i only applied the BB cream and loose powder with blush, i realise passers-by giving me a longer look than usual. This is either i look good or my make up totally look like ru hua's. i wasnt sure which, so i checked my compact mirror and i'm sure it's not the latter. plus i'm not wearing anything dressy or showing alot of skin or cleavage (like as if there's any!)

but i didn't take any photos except this disillusioned one at the bus-stop.

hp cam quality sucks.
i'll do one with a proper digi-cam before i go out today =)

enjoy ur weekend peeps!

On friday, i decided to wear my 10 dollar dress i got from Bugis street, wahaha!
Photobucket
time to clean my mirror i know-_-

i had a bit of time before leaving for school so i curled my hair, teehehe!
Photobucket
i make it a point now to curl them only once per week because i realised how much damage the curling tongs are doing to my already-fried hair. Split ends and tangled mess are definitely no stranger to me :(
i use hair mask everytime i bathe, and that is 2-3 times a day!

Photobucket
more moisturised hair makes curls stay longer :)

Oh ya, i tried on the purple strips eyelashes that night!
Photobucket
pretty?
i really like the criss-cross lashes, but jayen got a shock when he saw the purple strips. he liked the lashes but not the purple stuff on top. he says its very cheena.. come to think of it, the salesgirl who recommended this pair at O2 skin is from china :( maybe i'll cut the purple strips off, cos i really, really like the look from the front. but too bad jayen is taller than me so he only sees the purple strips, haha

we caught Night in the Museum2 after my school. i really really didn't like it at all :(

Saturday
met up the girls at Serangoon Gardens because Yue was craving for BBQ SAMBAL SEAFOOD!
we went chompchomp!

waited close to 25 minutes for a table cos we refused to sit inside. We hate oily smoke!
Photobucket

me and yue
Photobucket
Photobucket
xin =)
she just came back from her honeymoon at Australia and bought us wafers and and a piece of soap each!
Photobucket
my butterfly soap! hehe.. it smells so nice that i wanted to eat it! haha.. they also have soaps that look like cakes! so cute!

Photobucket
yue is going back to her U.S. home at the end of may :(

after dinner, we went to Liquid Kitchen at Portchester Ave (sgoon gdns) for some dessert and drinks
Photobucket
it has been so long =)
we've known each other for close to 15 years (since sec sch days) and all of us have moved on to the next part of our lives, but we still keep in touch. When we left for our home, yue gave me and xin a big hug :( i wanted to cry
hope u will come back to singapore soooooon!!

anyway, i dug out old photos taken 6 years ago (2003) when yue was still staying here and the 3 of us went Sentosa, wahaha
that time didnt have a digi-cam, we used the old school film camera! haha
Photobucket
Photobucket

since i was free in the afternoon today, i took a bus to AMK Hub to restock my falsies.

i die die must buy back O2 Skin's falsies cos i only like theirs. and there's a particular pair that i've been wearing almost everyday so it's out of shape already. In fact, the more 'used' it is, the more natural it looked and they have been getting compliments from people asking where i got them from, teeheehee... it's so natural that some thought they were lash extensions

anyway, i've stopped going for lash extensions already because my package is completed, and i'm trying very hard to grow back my own eyelashes now. Lash extensions look really good but they hurt ur natural lashes as well.. so.. hmm, i think i'll rather stick to falsies from now on. until i feel like extending them again.. probably when i'm planning a holiday overseas or what, lash extensions reduce make-up time to only 10 minutes! and u can be pretty even when u're sleeping, wahahaa....

my loot
Photobucket
they're having a storewide sale (has been for many months already -_-) and since i'm also member, these are reduced to 40% of their original price. My favourite pair (luckily not a hot favourite among the girls, so the price is even cheaper!) costs around 5 bucks after discount! wheee~

not all are mine though, cos my beautician asked me to help her get too.

my favourite
Photobucket
the lash bone is very thin so it cant really be seen when worn. After a few times of wearing, the lashes will look uneven thus making it look more natural, hehe =)

the salesgirl psycho me to buy this...
Photobucket
it has tiny purple strips sticking out from its lash bone. i was quite skeptical at first cos the purple strips look very 'wayang' kind, but she assured me the effect is very subtle and the purple can only be seen when u flutter ur eyelashes. well, im keeping my fingers crossed :) will update when i wear them! haha

last pair
Photobucket
this i suppose is when i wanna look more drama? i cant stand falsies that are stiff and the hairs are equidistant from one another which will make it look like spikes poking out of the eye. Ugly!
that's why i always choose falsies that have hairs of different lengths like this. but still, i wont know until i try it.

yawn.. i'm very sleepy.
think i'll catch an afternoon nap now ;)

no tuition today is so great, wahahaa

loads of photos from yesterday, teeheehee...
cos i curled my hair and i felt pretty wearing my new dress, haha.. bimbo i know 8)

Photobucket
took a photo before i left home :)
(if only my phone takes not so grainy photos...)

my beautician told me on friday that brides use ampoules before applying make-up so that it would be smoother and last longer. I didn't know that! So since i have many bottles of ampoules left over from jan's spree and i haven been using them, i decided to try one before my make-up yesterday. And i thought my make-up did last longer and i didn't need to touch up till evening! i will be convinced if it proves me right the next time i use it again! =)

i was meeting esther and kaifen for shopping at Bugis. Esther very nicely came over my place to drive us there, i was so happy! thanks babe!!
we reached Bugis slightly earlier than the time we're supposed to be meeting kaifen, so esther and i went to take photo-stickers! haha.. i know i know... we take photostickers EVERYTIME we go out, but it's a die-hard habit, haha! since photostickers make u look really good, why not? heh...
Photobucket
the bears abit steal the limelight i know, lol..
yes, we're in a land of flowers and mushrooms... -_-
Photobucket
our favourite!
Photobucket
Photobucket
kaifen called me in the midst of taking a shot, thus that pose -_- heh... esther looking very good!!
=)

then, it was shopping time!!!! wahahaa... kaifen bought 2 tops for school. while waiting for her, i took a shot at the full length mirror, keke...
Photobucket
i wonder if people wear such specs out. lol

we went bugis street and everything was so nice and cheap!!! esther and i bought dresses for 10 bucks only! cheap and good! i was tempted to buy more but i know i have to refrain from spending too much... and mom has been nagging me for my bursting wardrobe!

At six, we went on our separate ways. i met up with dearest after his weekend class, and we went for a dinner before proceeding to Labrador park to chat and relax.
Photobucket
miss him! he has been busy these days.

jayen taking a pee in public, wahahaa...
Photobucket
kidding, it's the water cooler, but it looks real! haha
Photobucket

we caught Angels and Demons at Iluma cos everywhere else is fullhouse! It's a great show! Star Trek is also a great show! go catch both! ;)

i spent $ again!

this time, at a place which i've never ventured into before..
met up with little cousie last evening and we went Haji Lane for shopping :)
Though that place looks more like a deserted dark alley on a weekday evening, we managed to pop by a few shophouse boutiques that were selling very unique and exquisite stuff.. from clothing, to shoes, to bags.. but the prices were rather steep, so it's more of window shopping for broke broke us.

a photo kaya took of us at the back alley.. full of graffiti plus vulgar language. Didnt notice it until i uploaded the photo, haha..can u spot it? heh...
Photobucket

a shophouse that sells cute handmade stuff. We opened the door but didn't step in.
Photobucket

Decided to call it a day for shopping and we wanted to walk over to Bugis for our dinner when kaya spotted the shop at the next street, Bali Lane, which she has gone to the last time. so we went up...
Photobucket
i was pleasantly surprised by the relatively lower prices of their apparels. Moreover, the designs are quite chic and a number of them caught my eye =)
the salesgirl was also very hospitable and said i could try all the clothes in her shop, haha
she even allowed us to monkey around with this huge pair of spectacle frame and her hats.. heh
Photobucket
haha! the specs is actually for sale! and it amazing how it can stay on ur nose even without u holding onto it!

LOL!
Photobucket
miss lala
Photobucket

back to business...
i tried on these rompers which i like alot! but they're abit too loose for me and keep dropping! :(
Photobucket
i bought the ribbon-print chiffon one nonetheless cos polka dotted white is very very baggy.

more photos!
Photobucket
the first photo looks like i am 4 months pregnant! wahahaha....
Photobucket

after that, we went liang seah street for spicy noodles, fried brinjals and milk tea with pearls =)
Photobucket

the few things that are keeping me alittle cheerier these days are...

1.
Photobucket
even thou kitty looks abit retarded, it reminds me how the boyfriend is darn great with the UFO catchers. No, we're not addicted already and have not played for many months. However, we were at east coast park last sunday and saw many people trying to catch the kitties from a machine. The record was 3 bucks. The other people succeeded with 6-10 dollars, but jayen broke the record with just 2 dollars, wahahaha.... im so proud of him!

2.
Photobucket
a cute checkered dress i bought online. i fell in love with this piece and was waiting for it to arrive. Finally it came this morning and i cant wait to wear it out this weekend!!!!! YAY

spot the cheena-cardboard thing behind me? tat by the way is a joke...
on valentine's day, jayen bought me a bouquet of flowers. My mom, (very helpfully), painstakingly removed all wrapping, ribbons and tape, placed the roses into a vase when i was out.
i returned home, shocked to see the roses in the vase, howled at mom for 'destroying' the bouquet, ransacked the garbage for its wrapper and ribbons to retie the flowers back :(

on chinese new year, jayen ordered a hamper for my family.
if u would recall,
Photobucket
after chinese new year, my parents removed the stuff from the hamper, Again when i was out. when i was returned home, the cardboard used to wrap the hamper was on my bed! -_-!
my mom has learnt her 'lesson' and decided that i might want to keep that wrapper, so she didnt dare throw it away this time round.....!!
my mom..
i seriously dont know whether to laugh or cry! but the things she does, sometimes damn cute.

3.
Photobucket
my projects and tests results for this semester =)
I'm darn happy with my 2 essays scoring distinctions and the 2 tests with High-Dis!
i thank God so so much cos i didnt think i wrote that well at all!

now left with my exam grades.
im keeping my fingers crossed!
