i duno what's up with my neighbour's dog. It is 11.30p.m. and it's still barking. and it has been barking since last night, and the whole of today.
maybe it's sick. cos it's more of yelping. but i hope its owner do something about it.
cos his neighbours need to sleep.
yup, i'm here to update on stella and TMM's wedding =)
have already posted some photos up on facebook yesterday, hee. but usually, the photos i upload onto my blog are more exclusive. cos i know who are the people with access to my facebook and i dont want them to know too much. and i think not many of my friends know about my blog. I HOPE. at least, if they are secretly reading it, i wont know.

we didn't stay for the whole course :( cos it was getting really late.
so we skipped the noodle and dessert and caught lala and TMM when they came out for the 3rd change of clothes! :)

Special occasions like this, foundation for make-up is a must.
Minus points for clogging the pores, but definitely Plus points for dewy skin =) or so i thought, haha
styled my hair for the wedding dinner last night =)
and i wore my new dress i bought online!
i soooo love it but i did wish it was a little longer.

i've always enjoyed meeting up with little cousin kaya, but due to my hectic work + school schedules, i really couldnt afford much time :(
Friday night, i had my last tuition session for the day at 9pm and kaya came all the way over to serangoon gardens to meet up with me.
she said she wanted to give me a treat for my very very belated birthday, haha! i actually didn't want her to spend money on me, cos to me, she's like always so little. Not that she's not growing up, infact she's ALMOST adult already (in 2+ months' time), but in my eyes, i still treat her as a little kid LOL and little kids aren't supposed to treat adults what.
heh..
anyway,she insisted. so i had free supper that night! wahahha
we were choosing over a few cafe/pubs when we saw this very attractive offer of CHOCOLATE FONDUE at 15 bucks on Fri nights @ Liquid kitchen!!!
we ordered that sinful fondue, bacon wrapped sausages and a pot of earl grey tea!
we chose the POT instead of a glass cos we thought there will be refills! But heck, the waiter told us that there wont be any refills :((
water only mahh..so giam one meh.. the pot of tea not cheap also eh.. $8.80!
one tea bag and water cost 8.80 and no refill :(
ok i shall stop complaining like an auntie.
see the fruit platter and marshmellows!!!! the chocolate is very rich tooo!!!
and the bacon sausages smelled super nice!!!
my mouth was already watering even before i sank my teeth in! *thumbs up!*
wat's left of the chocolate fondue, haha! chocolate was just enough to dip all the fruits in!
with Kaya = camwhoring.
i know my friends will surely say, "u also a camwhore what..."
yah yah.. so 2 camwhores ok
after awhile, we finished all the food and the tea :(
and guess what we did? i poured all the water from my water bottle into the teapot and we heated the water over the flame used for the fondue, wahahhaha!!!
in the end, we had two pots of earl grey tea, wahahahhaa.....
how innovative can we get!
tats why they say poor people are more creative! haha. cos the rich will just order another pot, hehe
we talked and talked till after 1 a.m. before taking a cab home =)
more of such soon!

Saturday
it feels really good not forking out any money for purchases!
jayen brought a wad of 100 dollars shopping vouchers from his work and we spent 80 dollars @ Orchard Central :D
our movie, 4bia2, was at 11pm so we had almost 2hours free time =)
First we filled our empty stomachs with a free MOS Burger meal before shopping around. Jayen wanted me to spend the rest of the vouchers on something i like, like a pretty dress, shoes or accessories.
but didnt find anything i liked.
more so that i did not like the idea of spending all the vouchers on myself even though jayen was very sweet to want to give all of them to me.
in the end, we spent a total of 70 bucks at Guardian pharmacy, ahha
we bought:
a lotion and night cream for his face,
the whole set of Essential hair products for myself,
a face mask and clorets.
=)
we felt so happy after our purchases, cos we didnt have to spend a single cent, wahahaha!!
we're just having a fraction of the shiokness those pple who tio TOTO would feel, hehe

anyway, that was our free dining and shopping at Orchard Central, we proceeded for our movie, 4bia2.
Mine is a love-hate relationship with scary Thai horror movies cos i get mindfucked every time! Mindfuck is a term used to describe how ur mind cant stop thinking and thinking about something. In this case, the plot, characters and the ghosts... -_-
i have to admit i only get freaked out watching the Thai ghost shows cos the hollywood horror movies arent as scary.. duno why.. maybe angmoh ghosts seem like they only haunt angmohs.. asian ghosts more close to the heart. heh
anyway, that's not the point. the point is, the WHOLE night i wasn't able to sleep well.. my mind was still quite active even though i'm sleeping. it feels like the body is in 'fight-mode' the whole time.. duno if u know what i'm talking about -_-
but i remembered having such a shock when my giant carebear which was right beside me toppled onto me when i was sleeping. i literally jumped up from my sleep! :(
For now, no more horror movies for faint-hearted me :(
or else, one day i'm gonna get a heart attack. Absurd. Die of shock from a soft toy.
Today is a public holiday.
i was busy as usual. Public holidays are even busier for me than normal school days because the parents want more sessions from me to coach their kids. Good.
I had an hour and a half's break though =)
so was walking around CompassPoint when a pretty dress in Metro caught my eye. ok, metro is very auntie, but they carry chic clothes labels too!
when i went closer, i saw MORE pretty dresses!!! It's like walking into a blogshop in real-life! wahahaha!!! the clothes were so nice i wanted to get everything!!
no lar, i'm exaggerating. But some pieces were really gorgeous!
i tried on 5 of them!!

Think the fabric is too thin that's why.. haiz or else i will definitely get this piece! It comes in black too, but i prefer navy blue. Last piece. sian
this is rather unique BUT not quite my style. Abit too demure and i hate cut-in designs at the shoulders.

and the auntie sales assistant there was very helpful =) i like auntie sales assistants cos they're more honest with their opinions. she told me not to get the navy blue romper becos of the defect at the bust area and the seams at the bottom are coming loose. she's like talking to her own daughter! haha.. and when i asked her whether i should get the denim or the polka dotted dress, she told me the latter looks better =) i also think polka dots look cuter. no, i'm not acting cute. but the denim goes better for people who want to look more feminine and demure, haha!! and it definitely would NOT be me.
anyway, was talking about the kind of sales assistants i like. i certainly do not think salesgirls who pressure you to buy their stuff helpful at all . i remember one super exaggerating one. That time, she was complimenting on every single clothing i tried on. not the usual, "it's rather nice" kind, but the "WAH, SO PRETTY, VERY VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!!" kind.. it's like when someone compliments u too much, u somehow feel it isnt so sincere after all?
Moreover, i didnt really think the clothes look good at all, or well, to be exact, i didnt look good in them at all. And guess what, i tried on one last piece and came out of the fitting room, she exclaimed, "WAH!!!! SO NICE......" even before she realised i hadn't even buttoned it up properly.
i shot her a look.
i think she somehow realised it too, haha. In the end, i didn't buy anything from her.
yupp. enough of ranting.
i'm in such a talkative mood today. omg it's 1 in the morning

i realised my curls doesn't stay as long cos my ends are soooo fried :(
i lather on hair treatment everyday when i wash my hair, but think they are already permanently damaged :(
i know i look ghostly pale here, haha!
but i do like the hair there

my favourite day of the week.
i'm heading to the salon, tuition and then a movie date with jayen at night after his work!

i feel like a zombie.
my schedule was crazy these few days.
yesterday, i worked till night before i had my dinner and then back home to compile our group project till 2am.
i woke up so early this morning for work before the parent called to tell me her kid's ill and she had to bring him to the clinic.
my Morning is free! yay
so glad cos i feeel darn sleepy now :(
but have to complete the review questions for tonight's lecture.. arghhhhh
our this lecturer abit nuts one..
usually the rest of the lecturers would 'help' the part-timers by giving quite a lot of exam tips and tell us which parts are important to study cos they claim to understand how little time the working adults have.
but this one said, "dont expect me to feed you with answers. do your homework, last lecture it's YOUR show. YOU tell me your answers."

we dont even have time to eat liao, how to find time to do those past year exam questions? they're essay type and a few pages long each. how to do 20 over of them!?
usually the part-timers take 3-5 days leave from work to PIA before our exam day. nobody will have the time/strength to do during the days we work.
some drop out from the course..
worse still, some QUIT their day job to study!

i thought i was very 'kua zhang' already to eat from one whole plastic container in the lecture hall...
UNTIL i saw one guy take one packet of "Cai fan" out!!
wahahahaaa
anyway, i still quite enjoy studying so i'm not complaining

Yvonne asked the girls out for dinner yesterday because she just came back from Australia.
This girl spent her last 9.5 years abroad to pursue her studies. PHD already! Dont play play!!! she has always been very very smart since our poly days and whenever we had difficulties in our tutorials we would go to her for enlightenment.. aka. COPY her answers!! haha
we met at Orchard mrt around 5pm. when i reached, i sms them to ask where they were but none of them replied. In the end, Ivy called while i was walking around in Ion to tell me they were all waiting for me -_-
met up and i realised my phone abit ki-siao.. didnt receive any of their messages sent to me. I switched it off and on again and guess how many new messages i received!?
TWENTY FIVE! 25 freaking sms from the last 3 days!!! no wonder my phone was exceptionally quiet (or my frens seem exceptionally rude not replying my sms) these few days, all the sms jam up! damnit!

Next, we walked over to Paragon to have some drinks at Starbucks but we stumbled upon OChaCha instead. The waitress gave each of us a sample to drink and we were pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted! I love the powdery matcha (green tea) taste!
so we ordered 4 matcha latte (green tea with milk).
we reckoned the hot one would taste better cos the ice somehow diluted the taste
some self photos taken, but failed quite terribly..
so the waitress helped us to take one

Next, we walked over to Paragon to have some drinks at Starbucks but we stumbled upon OChaCha instead. The waitress gave each of us a sample to drink and we were pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted! I love the powdery matcha (green tea) taste!
so we ordered 4 matcha latte (green tea with milk).
we reckoned the hot one would taste better cos the ice somehow diluted the taste
some self photos taken, but failed quite terribly..
so the waitress helped us to take one
OChaCha is nice! try it!

exam period is here again soon. must start mugging already :(
