But i've got no inspiration till now, hahaa...
sometimes i would be in such a mood to rant and could write for hours. But today, i was surfing around reading forums, random blogs and checking out some profiles over at facebook.
No inspiration still.
hopefully it comes soon. When i do not blog for more than 3-4 days, there's this nagging feeling in me which urges me to blog. I've got a whole lot of backdated stuff, but i'm feeling so lethargic. haha
i'm such a procrastinator.
Anyway, our love bike is sold =)
It's quite sad actually that we had to finally let it go because the bike holds many beautiful memories of our love.
This particular blog post will be dedicated solely to our bike.
First photo taken on the 1stJuly 2008 when jayen and i bought it from the bike shop =)
We decided to buy a bike because we wanted to revive the wonderful memories of riding in Taiwan Kaohsiung. We wanted to bring kaohsiung back to singapore! hahaa~ but of cos, for transport purposes too la, haha

it looked nerdy and lao kok kok.. and we spent alot of effort and money to zhng it, hahaa
i think close to 2K?
The final product, haha... removed the helmet box and added ferrings, stickers (even a custom-made one), saddle bags and a Yoshimura exhaust!

a total face-lift, haha! That cool, rugged kind of look without being too attention-seeking =)
and we're darn proud of it!!
it did attract super lots of compliments and attention! =)
And also as many bad guys :( cos the brake parts were stolen at Liang Court carpark just into our second month of riding!!
After which, we were totally paranoid and installed an alarm system in our bike. The super super loud kind of car alarm, haha!
The bike took us to many different places in singapore =) It was the first time i felt having our own transport is sooooo wonderful and convenient!!
cos i never had people to ferry me around like that, wahahhaa.... i felt really really blessed! =)
Jayen and i rode to so many places and met up every single day without fail!
Our favourite east coast, downtown east, the rides to SIM, the frustrating jams along stupid Bukit timah road, haw par villa and west coast, the flat hair due to the helmet, drenched from the rain along the expressway, stranded in KPE, went punggol park, bike couldnt start and we had to kick start it twenty over times pushing it up the slope and down, the fetch from my tuition places, the rides together with our hamster, pudding (haha! pudding is really motion sickness-proof now, haha!), jayen coming over for lunch every afternoon when he was working at Kbox, the sickening summons (we had one $170 fine from NEA for parking on a big tree's root -_-), our late-night washing at my basement and many more!
These memories were bitter-sweet. We've gone through thick and thin this 1 year plus together with our bike and it holds too much memories for us.
Now, it's to be sold.. naturally, we wouldnt bear to let it go....
But still, since there is a buyer who is really interested in it, we will sell it cos Jayen is also complaining of backaches from riding the bike. It would be better if he stops riding.
Last weekend, we went on a last rounding trip on our bike to the many different places that held special memories in our hearts. Took truckloads of photographs.

This place overlooks to the other side! can you see Resort world at sentosa? :D

park

Before sunset, we took a photo together =)

i believe we wont be back here anytime soon without the bike :(
The next place..

they were having a kite-flying party i think, haha.. Look at these kites with lights! Amazing! Sometimes i wonder how heavy the kites with such lights are.

Had our first twister fries at McDonalds west coast

By the time we reached town, it was already after midnight =)

i took this photo because everytime jayen rides us to town, i would without fail look at the time on this digital clock on top of the building, haha.. It is 1.28 in the morning =)
After that, we stopped over at Holland village. Not for a drink, but to this playground nearby.

Our favourite slides. Got 2 slides side by side and we used to lie on them at night to count the stars and look at the clouds.
That night, we did the same =)
The next day, we continued with part 2 of our last rounding trip =)
We had to meet after dark cos i had tuition in the afternoon and Mattias' full-month dinner at Xin's =)
Our first stop that night was...
Changi Airport for our favourite Laksa and kayaToast meal! hehe

we used to have these every sunday for supper at Changi Airport.
After that, we went East Coast again..

No, we didnt play that night, haha.. Marina square's toys are definitely much worth it!!! i wan a Rilakkuma~!
3rd stop,

Interesting. Put a 春 on top of the 'tree' can use it for both Christmas and chinese new year, hahaa..
i was unable to capture the whole circle :( Emo.

Nevertheless, it made a really nice backdrop! haha

love bike =)
Test shot that turned out very nice, haha!!!

i think both look very hamsome, haha.. boyfriend and bike, keke
Posed photos..

After that we went to River Hongbao =)
It was already closed of cos, but we went up the Carousel at the EURO funfair!
hehe...

Magnificent! Just staring at these illustrations can bring me into a magical world!
Skyscrapers

8)
After that, we rode to our usual 'study corner' haha... a void deck at Kovan.

We would ride here, park our bike at the side, buy tidbits and drinks and study together till wee hours into the night =)
sigh..... EMO liao
:(
After that, we went over to Punggol!

This is one place we love too! Serene and not many people. We would come here after studying everytime because it's quite near to kovan. Sometimes we will have 'picnic' hahhaa! There's a police guard post there so it's very safe. This part of the beach will be revamped into some park in a couple of years' time.
After that, we headed home..
This is a scene which i will never get to see again after our bike is sold :(
a scene when Jayen parks it at my carpark before walking me to the lift.

=)
The custom-made sticker on the fuel tank of our bike.

It says "In God we trust"
=)) p.s. the new owner loved it so much, haha!!
Love bike,
we're so gonna miss you.. but these beautiful memories will be etched in our hearts forever.
May your new owner take good care of you in the future...
Love you with all our hearts =)
