my blog speaks louder than me...

today is the day for our flat selection!
i was squealing in delight when i saw the date printed on the invitation letter from HDB.

30th March 2010!
Super happy cos it's exactly on our 3rd year anniversary!!
we were still feeling abit down becos on our 1st anniversary, we flew back to our lovenest Taiwan to celebrate; on our 2nd anniversary, we got engaged (privately, haha).. and then 3rd anniversary, we were both too tied down with work and stuff, so didn't plan any celebration..
But then, God gave us one of the best presents!!

30th march 2010 is indeed a very significant date for us now!
Finally there's some happy news for us =)

On sunday night, we decided to go down the site to recce..
no choice had to go down at night cos bf had to work till quite late... so basically, we didnt see much cos it's so dark!

we walked from Queenstown MRT station all the way here. Took us around 10 min.

seems like SkyTerrace has less blockage compared to SkyVille!
There is nothing there yet except a board -_- but even a simple board could make us very excited!

And this evening, we went down HDB with his parents to select our flats!

we had in mind which block to select because its view isnt blocked like the rest of the 2 blocks.
But look at what's left! The red are all snatched up by people before us! we were praying so hard before we came, cos we were so afraid that the choice units would be taken up!
Only left 2 units (blue) for us to choose from our choice block. And we are quite glad! Cos the upper levels are so expensive!
we got 15th and 16th floor! =) and the price was within our expected budget =)
And we believed God 'reserved' it for us, haha!

but i really have to trust him on selecting the best unit within our budget =)


we have selected a loft unit with a studio apartment under the new Multi-generation living scheme =) meaning, his parents' unit will be linked to our unit with an interconnecting door! How cool is that! i really liked the idea!

Last weekend, i received a text from Kaya saying she wanna bring her little brother to club. Cousin bailin has just turned 18 - legal age to drink, wahahaha..
Since my classmates were also itching for a drinking session, i lugged them along together, hehe..
Not that i'm very free to go clubbing everytime.. In fact, it's becos i am TOO busy so the only time i'm free is very late at night! wahahaa

Ordered a Dreamer (cant remember the exact name of the cocktail.. some dream or day dream? whatever.. but it was the first drink on the cocktail list. More importantly, it was totally heavenly!!! SUPER NICE! Recommended by Lionel, haha)

"Huh? what friend? who??"
"The girl standing beside you just now lor? Not your friend??"
"WHAT GIRL STANDING BESIDE ME? HOW COME I NEVER SEE HER?!"

But seriously, my classmate told me he saw one long haired girl standing together with us in our group when we were playing 5-10! And NOBODY ELSE SAW HER EXCEPT HIM!!! wtf
Fyi, we were standing at a less-crowded spot in phuture, so it cannot be other clubbers cos we were standing IN A CIRCLE.
okay, well done eric.
You have successfully spooked all of us!

it's still an unsolved mystery, haha.. and we all dont wan to find out.

OMG. when i came back from the ladies, i couldnt believe my eyes to see Bailin shuffling like a pro!!! i just STARED with my mouth wide open!
and bailin was supposedly very very shy one lor! see how alcohol could 'change' a person? wahahaha.... too bad we didnt videoed it down cos i think we were all too shocked, hahaa

OK i need to bathe and prepare to go work already!! Tonight i'm gonna meet Jayen!! YAY!!! 5 days never see him, can die lor.

For the past few months, i'm been curbing my spending until it feels very shiok not to buy anything when i go shopping at the malls or online.
I do have a few things on my shopping list now, but i've been delaying and delaying it. One reason is becos i simply do not have the time to go and buy them. Another reason is that it makes me feel a sense of acheivement when i can resist that temptation to spend, wahahaha...
"Retail Therapy" has become "Saving Therapy" for me liao.. maybe now old already, have got to be more prudent in my spending. Must think "Need or not?", "Ok to live without it?" before i grab the item or press the 'CheckOut' button.

But i bought a dress from MDS-collection few days ago and it came in the mail yesterday. The dress is for my brother's wedding. Need to buy early, or else i might not be able to find appropriate bridesmaid dresses when the date draws near...

comes in black as well, but of cos, i chose this colour!
Tried it, fits perfectly and the length is not too short, so i think my mom wont complain? The only worry is the bustier tube top..
But the dress is quite cheap! Only 34 bucks :D Would be a fraction of the prices for similar gowns i find in shops like 'daniel yam' or something, ho`HO~HO~

i think this is the 3rd time i'm being asked to be a 'sister'. Of cos, i was really excited!!
Though we had to reach super early, i was still very happy haha!

the sisters were preparing for the gate-crashing.. the usual bittergourd and stuff, haha...

there were only 15 minutes for the gate-crashing cos we had to rush to a few places after that.
So, the groom came in quite easily!
But the angpow money he gave was quite a sum! wooo-hoo~


the marriage contract the groom had to adhere to...

i really do not like contracts like this :( hahaa, cos why should marriage between a loving couple have 'terms' like these to be bound to?
Anyway, i think it's just for fun to tekan the groom during the gate-crashing la.
and the contract is nicely done up by one of the sisters =)

everything was nicely set up and there was superb service from the hotel staff!!

This is the first time i actually followed the bride around and i got to see how everything was done! Alot of work for all, as well as the bride and groom, but all is worth it for a special day belonging to just the 2 of them!
