it was my bird day yesterday, haha
and i made sure i didn't have to work at all :) It is such a good day when i know only FUN awaits me, YAY
I was queen for the day and jayen let me choose whatever i wanted to do and where i wanted to go, haha
I chose to go SENTOSA! :D
It was cloudy in the morning, but thank God the skies cleared up by late morning!
In fact, the sun was so glaring we had a hard time opening our eyes for a nice photo, hehe
We reached VivoCity around 11am and headed to Daiso to buy shades!! hehe cos jayen forgot his sunglasses and he reckoned without a hat, i would complain very shortly afterwards. We didn't want to waste money on an expensive one, so $2 would be very good!! :D
We walked all the way to Sentosa via the Sentosa boardwalk!
i look like i was 3 months pregnant in my babydoll top! wahahaa~
fatty fatty, ehhe
With our 2 dollars buys, teehehee~ Visor and shades! i was a little comprehensive about the visor at first, but jayen thinks it's cool and more importantly, it can protect my whole face from the UV rays :)
i love Daiso.
jayen quickly walking back to the shade after our self-timer shot, haha.. The heat was unbearable!
we took the travellator instead :)
:)
Reached the entrance of Universal Studios but we aren't going in! keke..
Love the cool mist! It really helps to bring the heat down!
We walked pass McDonald's and went in for a light snack. Actually, it was more for the air-con and ice-cold CocaCola, haha
I got a new HelloKitty watch from the HappyMeal! Nice?? :D
However, it keeps dropping off my wrist, cos the strap was so easily loosened! I nearly lost the watch in a few occasions and had to pick it up from the ground -_-!
Siloso Beach!!!
should have brought along my bikini, wahahha~ cos the waters look so cooling to dip myself in!
i wannnnna go for a getaway at some island!!!!!!!! In October!
There was nothing much to do (for free) at Sentosa, so we bought tickets for...
some 4-D shooting game, heh
While queuing up for our turn,
:)
After the shooting game, we went for the 4-D Extreme Log Ride. It is just a stimulator ride la, not a roller coaster.
When we were queuing up, this Indian tourist family was asking the person selling tickets whether the ride is dangerous -_- He replied that it's not. The family continued asking if it's REALLY not dangerous, and the person reiterated that it's not. The family didn't give up and asked if it will be safe for children. The person had no choice but to point to the queue and said, "You see, even got OLD people queuing up. It's NOT dangerous."
haha
It's quite fun actually, hahaa.. Jayen says if it's the 'real thing', he will surely die of fear. wahaha~
But to be honest, i think the effect is not as 'stimulating' as the real roller coaster ride leh. Doesn't have the 'heart going to drop out' or 'urine going to come out' feeling. hmmm...
Anyway, got one angmoh kid scared until cry lor! Heh..
so it's not really 'safe' for the very young children, haha
Next, we just explored different parts of the island... Like the rabbit trail
where there is not a single rabbit in sight. Except for a few blangahs sitting down and chatting by the side.
Images of Singapore...
❀we didn't buy tickets to go in too. What's new, hahaa.. can read from the Straits Times and the news from TV, haha
Self-timer shot
♥
Next was photo-taking with parrots!!!
So pretty!!
The trainer got us to hold the birds! I was holding onto a white parrot and jayen was holding onto this big red one!!
BUT they used their OWN cameras to take for us (and we had to pay for it if we wanted the photo). It was really a fun experience! Too bad we couldn't take with our own camera :(
The second shot was us holding one baby parrot in our palms! SUPER CUTE LOR!!!!!!!
but we didn't buy the photo also :( hahaa
cos we didn't look nice in them, HENG AR! or else have to waste money to buy the photo. Freaking 40 dollars for 2 lor! -_-
For our own cameras, they can only have the parrots in the BACKGROUND
see those cute yellow ones??? hehehe
Jayen took 2 very artistic shots of me...
...playing with the water from the fountain, ahha
At the Fengshui trail...
♥ ♥ ♥
Guess what's Jayen trying to grab?
hur hur hurrr...
Next was chilling by the Siloso beach and people-watching
Ice-Blended Mocha with whipped cream. Spot my new Happy meal watch, haha
After that, we decided to head back to VivoCity cos we buay tahan the heat! We were roasted and become chao tah liao
Birthday Noodles at Harbourfront food court!
My grandma gave me 20 dollars and asked me to go and buy noodles to eat, haha.. She say Birthday must eat noodles one, haha.. so cute!
After that, bought a mini cake from Vivocity and jayen sang a really nice birthday song for me :)
I made a wish and before i blew off the flame on the candle, Jayen made a birthday 'speech' and i was damn touched i wanted to cry!! hahaaa
yay!
The cake was one of the best we have tasted :) Good things shared definitely tastes sweeter! :)
At 9pm, there was even fireworks in the sky!!!! Love it!
Thanks for celebrating this day with me and making it as memorable! :)
Happy birthday to meeeeee, hahaa
