clap, clap, clap your hands

In addition to being pretty good at waving "Hi" and "Bye-bye" now, Sonia is starting to clap her hands! This is just today. It is sooooooooo cute! I want to take pictures and video of it, but I need to update everything else so I can clear off the SD card before that will be possible.

The other day I really brushed out and moisturized Sonia's hair. We had had some matting problems in the back. See how Sonia's hair got stuck? There was this silly useless Velcro thing on my nursing pillow. I ended up just cutting it off after I carefully pulled it out of her hair. It has never once been used and if it is going to get stuck to my babies' heads then it can just go.

I used my normal leave-in conditioner, but then put olive oil on too and it seemed like it worked really well! I will keep trying olive oil. I also put it in a tiny ponytail. Sonia's first ponytail!

Pay no attention to that bald spot below the pony tail.

first tastes

On her half birthday, Sonia had her first bite of rice cereal.

She wasn't too sure about it at first! This was a month ago, though, so now she is an old pro at eating rice cereal. And with that new tooth of hers that finally popped through, who knows what is next on the culinary horizon?
