Precious Lesson

During our Singapore trip, an interesting incident happened during the bus journey from Dolphin Lagoon back to Fort Siloso at Sentosa Island. The bus was packed with passengers who just finished watching the 1:30pm Dolphin show. We were some of the early ones entering the bus, found our seat and ready to go. Then came a huge group of tourists entering the bus, most of them had to stand as there were no more seats left. An elderly Indian lady was standing beside Jordan, being a kind-hearted boy, Jordan offered his seat to this lady, she insisted to share the seat with Jordan. So, Jordan sat on one quarter of the seat, glued to the window, and the slightly obese lady squeezed herself into the seat and of course onto Jordan. We thought everything went well until after we got down from the bus at Fort Siloso, Jordan was quite upset as he found his pants all wet on the right side, due to the wet sari of the Indian lady.
He was distraught on the cable car journey back from Sentosa as he was embarrassed about his wet pants. As we went on to Vivo City for our meals, I felt God was teaching all of us a lesson here, so I told Jordan, sometimes it cost us something when we do good, just like how it cost God His only Son. Jesus came to save us, that we may have eternal life, It's costly, but for a worthy cause, to save you and me from eternal death. As we pondered about the truth of God's word, we realised then that Easter was just round the corner, and we have all the reasons to rejoice, because our Savior lives !! And Jordan smiles again!
What a precious lesson to learn.

Singapore Trip

Recently we made a very last minute decision to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary by taking the kids to Singapore. It proved to be one of the best decisions ever made.
We were truly refreshed and had a splendid time. We stayed with Sarah and Alex's family at Bradell Hill. Their warm hospitality overwhelmed us and their girls were such a joy. Mrs Chua was such a gem. She did our laundry for us. Bless her heart..Heather and Jordan with Letitia and Mathena

We met up with Philip's old friends. On the first night (20/3) we had dinner with Ivan and Chin Ai. It was a great night of fellowship and fun. As you can see the sword of the Spirit was very evident in our dinner conversation.

The following day (21/3) we met up with James and Nicole Liz. We spent the entire day with them at the Singapore Zoo, Science Centre, watched IMAX movie and the day was crowned with a delicious dinner at Long Beach Seafood Restaurant. The Chili Crab, claypot soup and the clams in bamboo were simply divine. We were too engrossed with eating, we forgot to take some snapshots!!!

At the Singapore Zoo with James and Nicole Liz. Good thing the parrot didn't peck daddy's head !

22/3 On our way to Sentosa. Kid's first ride in a cable car.

Jordan & the luge. MY !!! Am I glad its over.

Going to Singapore would definitely NOT be complete if shopping is not part of the agenda.

Shopping @ Orchard Road. Mummy's favourite past time. It is very therapeutic for her but it's killing out feet. All that walking!

Our pride and joy. Aren't they adorable ? But don't let these cuddles fool you. Both were caught on camera in less than friendly fashion. Check out the next pix.

We praise God for a fantastic holiday and wonderful friends.
