The beach 2013

We tried to get some good pics with Marmee and Poppa, but it just didn't quite work out. Oh well. This really captures real life!

This is one of the few pics we got of the two of them where Caroline wasn't eating sand!

The beach sure does wear you out! We enjoyed LONG naps every day!

We had a blast this year at the beach. Caroline and Anna flew down for a few days, so we had an extra special time with them. Overall, our vacation was relaxed and it was great to just spend time together with nothing major to do!

Four Years Old!!!

Instead of having a big party this year, we decided to celebrate Parker's birthday with a family party followed by a weekend trip to Legoland.
We started out Thursday night with a party with all his cousins (minus Caroline) and his grandparents.

He got the Lego train he's been coveting for months.

And he got his first bike!

This is before he got to drive the Lego police cars. You have to be 4 to ride, and the guy asked him how old he was. Parker said, "I'm three, but I'm about to turn 4." He told them to give him a thumbs up if they understood....well....in this picture, Parker is practicing his thumbs up.

We watched a 4-d Lego movie. Hilarious....he was reaching out to try to grab the things on the screen. At one point, the characters walked past, and he turned to see where they had gone.

Watching him drive these cars was probably one of the funniest things I've watched him do. He would drive for a second, stop, look behind him, and then cause a traffic jam. The other kids kept bumping into him.
