A couple favorites

This first one is probably my favorite of this family from a couple weeks ago.
A little story board: Learning how to pull up to a stand.

Random Nature

I had a friend tell me today that she liked my extra pictures that I posted that were not the usual portraits.  Well, thank you!  It's a good reminder for me.  I need to get in touch with my artistic roots and re-discover my passion for art.  Take more natural photos, not just the posed ones.  I like posed ones too, just not all the time.

I love nature.  I spend as much time outside as I can.  I find myself sitting on the front porch a few times during the day. Just watching and listening.   I am teaching my kids how to identify wildflowers and birds.  And to listen to their different calls.  And I especially love when I have the opportunity to capture something with my camera.

My son found this little bird running around.  It's a baby killdeer.  And for such a ferocious name it was quite a cute little thing.
I think this is some type of jumping spider.  It was only about the size of a fingernail but he looks mighty intimidating.

Dandelions are fun to photograph.
Anole with dragon scales.

Soni's Continued Session

We had so much fun finishing our rained out photo shoot.   And even though the weather called for clear skies, we still had a little sprinkle at the end.  Soni is so pretty.  I am lucky to have had her as a client.  She makes my blog look even better.  Thanks again Soni!  Good luck with all your graduation events coming up.

You've got something...

...in your eye.
I chased this little dragonfly for a few yards until it settled down. It seems I wasn't alone in my interest of this little bug.

Angela & Lester

To my 9 fans out there, (that's right, count em...9) You know I enjoy some good black and white photos. Here is a wedding I shot recently posted mostly in black and white with a little color in the middle. What a great day. Congratulations Angela and Lester.
