Pierce Best Babies

Thought I'd add a little poll to the blog - I really don't like labeling who's who, since I can tell who's who, so it seems like everyone else should be able to. However, we get a LOT of people telling us they look exactly alike, even though I think they look totally different. So...what do you think? Maybe study these pictures to get them down, first, then decide.

We have a lot of pictures in the "To Post" folder on our computer. Help! We had a busy mid-week last week with Andrew's family visiting (which also meant we took a lot of pictures), and I've been busy at work the couple days I'm there. I even had to work at home some this week, which stunk, though I did put together a newsletter for our 5th graders that I'm proud of. Andrew has a bunch of exams this coming week, the girls aren't going to bed till midnight, aren't sleeping their 5-6 hour stretch like they used to, etc. etc. (I think I hear Kara now - Anna's already been up). So, while not as overwhelming as the first few weeks, things are hectic with the girls lately. I never would have thought I'd be able to function so well on so little sleep or be able to haul around 2 13+ pounders at the same time or feed them both or do anything that I spend my days doing lately - being a mom really is something that God built into woman. Our little "bees" (we got tired of calling them "bay-bees," so are just going with "bees" for now) are so worth it, though!

All that to say...more pictures are coming soon, and there are a lot that I really like. I'm happy we have photogenic babies, though when you take as many pictures as we do, some of them are bound to turn out decently. :)

They're starting to interact with each other more - lots of smiles and some "talking" - and they're always touching each other in some way, whether it be nice like here, or just a hand on the side/head/grabbing sis's shirt, etc. It's really nice to see them loving each other like that.

I want to take some "official" 3 month shots of both of them, but that hasn't happened yet. :)

They don't really like sleeping that much during the day, so they have to be really dead tired to do it...as these pictures show. Anna very precarious on the edge of the bed, Anna and Kara both in the crib.

Kara is starting to look more like a real girl now that she is holding her head up so well and it's not drooping on her chest like Anna's.
