Okay, I know this is really late and I haven't updated my blog forever, but better late then never. I'm posting some pics of Christmas. We were able to enjoy the morning at our house and then went to my parents for brunch. Later we went to Joel's parents for dinner and to celebrate Joel's birthday. In case you didn't know, Joel is a Christmas baby. Super fun, right? Well we try to celebrate it separately from Christmas. So all day it's Christmas stuff, and in the evening it's birthday time! So happy belated birthday hunny. We love you so much and appreciate all that you do for us.

Christmas Day!
Snow anyone?
So last week we got hit with some major snow storms. Probably the most snow since we've lived in our house. For Christmas this year, Joel's mom did the 12 days of Christmas and gave us a tool to build an igloo. Joel was so excited about it. He and Kaleb started on it, and Kaleb go too cold so he came inside to thaw out. Joel was so determined to finish his igloo, it took him 5 hours!! It looked awesome. I snapped some pictures of Kaleb and our neighbor Jaxson enjoying the snow. It's a good thing we took some pictures because it collapsed later in the week. Check it out!

Basement and Indian!
Forgot to post these...
So, I've been a slacker about posting up pics in Novemeber and some in October. Here are some pics of us when we carved pumpkins right before Halloween. The kids definately didn't like putting there hands in the guts of the pumpkin. They had fun looking at the final product when they were lit.

I hope she's not preparing for modeling in the future.

Some new family photos.
We had our family pictures taken a few weeks ago. They turned out awesome. Joel did some trade work with a friend who is a photographer. She did an amazing job. If you are looking for a photographer, check out her website, punkinsphotography.com.

These are only a few of the good ones. I have more on my facebook account. So check it out.

Halloween Party
On Sunday we got together with Joels' family to have a Halloween party. Joels' Grandparents had a surprise for us when they arrived. We heard they were dressing up, but didn't know what they were going to be. We've nicknamed Grandpa Ron to be Grandpa Ernie. He used to tease Kaleb by calling him that. So now we call him Ernie. Also Grandma Arlene had some batman pieces leftover from making Kaleb's costume. So when they arrived, we were very surprised. It was hilarious. They are the most awesome Grandparents ever. We love them so much. All the kids dressed up too. Here are some pics:

Happy Birthday Kaleb!
Wow! I can't believe my oldest is 4! Kalebs' birthday was on the 24th. If you don't know, he is completely obsessed with Batman right now. His Great grandma Arlene was kind enough to make him his costume for Halloween and he loves it. He's so lucky to have such a wonderful family. We celebrated on his birthday with Grandparents and had a family party on the following Sunday. He loved the presents he got. Thanks to everyone for coming. We love you all. Happy Birthday Kaleb. We love you so much. You have been such a joy and blessing to us. Here are some pics of his parties:

Super cute batman.

Happy Avree
He has to make the batman face.

I have to laugh at Uncle Ty. They always tease me when I feed Avree because I tend to open my mouth. Well as you can see, it's hard not to do.

The Batman
About a month ago, we decided to redo Kaleb's room. I painted the room blue and put up some beadboard. Joel painted Batman on the wall for him. It took some time, but he finished it this morning for him. It looks pretty awesome. If anyone would like some murals done in there home, I know an awesome artist!

Lately
Here are some pics of what we've been up to lately. Kaleb had a school field trip to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving point and then we went to a pumpkin patch last Friday with some neighbor kids. Overall it was pretty fun. Avree was super tired by the time we were done with the pumpkin patch. Sometimes it makes you wonder if they are really having as much fun as you hoped they would. With all the whining and crying, it makes me wonder. :)
