Surf freaks
Can you tell by the look on my face that I scored epic Jeffrey's Bay ?
PINKLES LOVE TOUR 2006
We slept in our van here for the few days the waves were cooking like this...We had million dollar beachfront property at Supertubes. Imagine waking up to this. Needless to say I rubbed my eyes in disbelief too. Go ahead look closer til your nose hits the screen. Straight out of a surf mag.
This was the view from our rad lodging for my birthday May 25th. The view from the deck overlooking Supertubes.
What a great wife...Drinking morning coffee watching the J-Bay spectacle as her husband surfs epic waves.

In my dreams this is what I would be doing here. Well now I can say we are living a dream...
A stunning sight to see elephants drinking and loitering in their native homeland...
Probably saw 20 of these animals throughout our visit to Addo Elephant Park. They don't mind us, just keep chomping grass.
Caution tortoise crossing. Look he's going Pinkles speed...Leslie's cousin from her past life. Her cuz MOJO YO YO
On the road, route 62, Like the famous route 66, we are like a band of gypsies we go down the highway, We're the best of friends, I just can't wait to get on the road again.
This is pre E-Brake before I went flying overboard. These crazy animals can stop on a dime. The fastest birds in the world.
Roger that...You are comin in low...Lean back keep your arms straight, hold tight to the wings and straddle him with your knees, Just like water skiing...rookie yankee
97% of the world's ostrich population come from this region and there are more ostriches than people here. They see 360 degrees and they can rip your heart out with one kick of their large TALLONS.
PPPfffffffffffffffffft... Let's just say she pinched one out. Well, she pinched through the tunnel before the world caved in on us.
There is a lot of dirt and rocks above that could pinch me like a bug at this moment and this is the roomiest zone of the chimney crawl...
This narrow crawl was called the chimney, and understandably so...The air was thin and extremely humid 5 kms deep in the earth's core. The adventure tour is a proper name for this climb. We barely fit and had to squeeze through and pull ourselves up. Fear of clausterphobia conquered...
The organ Pipes. This cave goes 5 kms deep and we explored all 5 kms on the adventure tour.
This is an absolute sight to see under the earth untouched by man completely created by nature. These structures are formed by groundwater dripping slowly drop by drop through the earth's surface making its way down after each rain. Then through the condensation they form upwardly until they connect.
Stalagatites and stalagamites 110 meters under the top of the mountain. This massive structure was called the mothership.
We left E-Bay after the swell dropped off and headed east. We stopped in Swellendam and decided to take a hike up to the Langerberg Mountain range. We hiked what is called 10 o'clock the peak farthest to the right. The local farmer's use to tell time by the mountain range peaks and when the sun would hit them.
Another roundhouse back into the whitewater so I can do it all over again and again and again.
This wave is fast and long and there's huge kelp heads popping up in the water and shallow rock reef, with urchins, mussels, and heavy locals.
The first trip to Elandsbaai we got skunked with a five day flat spell. So we had to go back and this is what we found. Overhead reeling waves for 200 yards. Pink about to get barreled in this picture.
There's a cool pool to jump in then this warm hot tub pool also private baths making this place a fun stopover before heading back to Elandsbaai.
