At last I have managed to get myself organised and start up a blog. After enjoying reading those belonging to other people I hope I can record something interesting within these lines - if not, I shall be the only reader and probably my greatest critic!
Just to get started I'll mention a trip we did the other day to the RSPB Wetlands Visitor Centre near Newport. Sited next to a power station and including land right down to the Severn Estuary shoreline it is a great place to visit for a bracing walk as well as looking at the wildlife - plus it is free to get in and there's a cafe there as well if needed.
