Welcome to BYU’s Psychology Department! We are a community of disciple-scholars with a shared purpose to better understand human behavior using the methods of psychology. Our work is illuminated by our shared commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ, and we aspire to bless all of God’s children through improving understanding of human psychology. We are guided by our desire to promote human flourishing, reduce suffering, and contribute to health and happiness for all. Our mission focuses on our students, and we are committed to preparing them to benefit the world. I invite you to learn and grow by participating in all that our department offers to students, faculty, and staff.
Sincerely,
Chad Jensen, PhD │ Psychology Department Chair
