NYC is such a loud place and nothing but rush rush....that is until you go to Ground Zero...as soon as I exited the taxi there was nothing but PURE SILENCE! there was a calm. slow moving people looking on with a million thoughts running through their heads with disbelief. It was so quite there like noise and chaos was banned from the Memorial site. Kinda a strange feeling. T and her friends were in the 2nd grade when the 9/11 disaster struck. They remember bits and pieces but being there made them have a whole new understanding to what happened. What a sad place to go see. all there is now is the footprint of the towers with construction taking place. there are posters, pictures, and letters with flowers let to those left behind........

I took this picture of a picture displayed at Ground Zero.......I thought it was a nice picture of a little girl with her (Grandfather maybe) with the twin towers in the background.

Here is the footprint of where the towers once stood................

Here is another picture of a picture I took that I really thought was amazing.

T with her friend in the footprint of the towers.....................

You may want to enlarge this picture. it is a note that someone left for a loved one who was taken away. I did a little reasurch and I believe it was written to this
man... from the names written on the note and FDNY.

The Twin towers used to stand in front of these 2 buildings.........can you imagine what the people in these 2 buildings saw?

This picture killed me....a little boy drew this for his Daddy..........
