Today Belle had a follow up appointment at the vet for her throat infection. Just as I figured she is not healed yet so he put her on 2 new medications. a stronger antibiotic and Prednisone. I Just hope Belle can handle Prednione better than Willow can. Belle who gets car sick seems to do better in the front seat rather than in the way back. I gave her her Dramamine about a half hour before we left and treated her to a Ginger Snap cookie to help her Belly for the 10 ride down the road...LOL She did well...No Puky, No Poopy, No pee~pee! Phewww! She was pretty excited about this journey until we walk into the vet.........then she hid behind me hoping not to be seen. When we were in the exam room she went for her FAMOUS hiding place as we waited for the Dr...Under the chair. she heads right for the chair and will hide......


Whoa Hoo! I get to go for a ride with Just Momma by myself! See ya Willow I am going to the Lake with Momma! Hahaha
When i get to the lake I am going to chew on Willow's chewies, drink out of her water-dish, Sleep on her side of the sofa, I am going to even play with her favorite Monkey toy!


Ummm I can smell the lake water from here! Loon Lake here we come! Just me and Mom!


I will not come out of this hiding place. I know that big man in the white jacket will be putting a thermometer you know where! and will be sticking his fingers in my mouth and make me gag as he looks at my Boo-Boo in my throat.....
Oh I hope he doesn't look under Mom....

We here up in New England have been waiting a long time for the warm weather to arrive...Finally it is here! The girls swam in our pool for the first time yesterday. It was in the high 80's and Today my outdoor thermometer is reading 92* in the shade.....Yep its warm!


No swimming in the pool this warm long weekend.....We are off to the lake for the Holiday! We will be going to the beach, Kayaking, The campground has a lot going on from Bingo tonight... Fishing Derby ,Tomorrow a magic show, relay races for the kids, contests, a music band tomorrow night you name it.it is going on....

I finally got my car back after it being in the repair shop for 8 LONG weeks! This old car was made into a sofa and is used in the waiting room at the repair shop...I though it was really creative! Whitney took a liking to it too..........
Did you notice Whitney's shirt? I bought it for her at Universal Studios in Florida when I went in January.....
Oh I missed my car.....I was all ready to trade it in but I decided to keep it a little Longer.....Just think Tori will be driving in about 2 more years...this could be her first car...Yikes SCARY!!!!

My Husband is big into the whole 4-wheeling thing. So much we started our daughter on a little 50 4-wheeler when she was 2.....she took right to it. then she out grew the 50 and we bought her a 80....she jumped, blew donuts....got stuck in knee deep mud....and Loved it. she just started to outgrow her 80 so we just got her a 250.....She got it tonight. she rode and rode and rode all over our field getting used to the new feeling..it is so much bigger than her other one...our plan is to get her into racing at a track nearby next year....She will whip those boys butts out there on that track! This little 13 year old girl can ride. I guess after being on a 4-wheeler for 11 years you know what you are doing. Her father take her out on the trails and she can't get enough of it... Whitney has a 4-wheeler as well....she likes it but not as much as her sister Whitney dumped hers last simmer and got a few scrapes and bruises...she still is on the cautious side

...I love to sit on the deck out back and watch them play around in the field.... Tori riding up the hill.........

Well we finally made it back to the lake...that was a LONG 7 months away. We got a lot done...Brad and My father and a couple of other fellow campers got our Screen Room up. What a difference that make in the whole feel of the camper...it adds a whole new room! Today we had a Mothers Day Breakfast in the Function Hall at the Lake. The kids served the Mothers. Whitney was my server. She did well. I should of given her a tip! The weather was nice but the wind was almost too much....made it quite chilly.The Pugs did so good they were so well behaved. No accidents and Belle rode the whole way without getting carsick. I was so nervous driving over hoping I wouldn't have to pull over to clean up after her. She did well...Ginger snap cookies did the trick with a little bit of Dramamine....( I got the right dose for her from our vet so don't give Dramamine to your Pet until you get the proper dosage) It was a great weekend. I didn't want to leave but the kids have School and Brad has to work tomorrow. Tori and Whit-Bit enjoying the Mothers Day Breakfast........
