a Big HaPpY Birthday shout out toooo

I want to send a very HaPpY Birthday wish to Some Love....today she celebrates her 30th Birthday.....those of you who don't know Somer here is a little info of this amazing woman... she tries to live each day to the fullest by keeping her hopes high, and dreams big!! she thinks it is important to LOVE as long as you LIVE, and LAUGH as much as you BREATHE!! she is now a 30 year old adult living with Cystic Fibrosis, and an active advocate in the CF community. she make it a priority to raise awareness and help educate everyone on CF. Being diagnosed at 11 months old she was unable to make her own decisions. However, she is fortunate enough to have fabulous parents who chose to help fight her disease... This is her fight..... and today marks her 30th year fighting against CF....

Willow Update and Fun for Whitney

We are nearing the end of the school year and Whitney's school had a 5th grade dance for a farewell dance before the leave to another school for their Middle School years... it was a Luau theme...Whitney won 2 contests and her trophy was a coconut and a Pine apple... here she stands with one of her classmates who also won a coconut.... she had a (fake)parrot on her shoulder before but the Bird didn't survive the night of dancing...the poor fake parrot was found stomped on the floor........

oops? how did this get in here....anyway... the next time I post Bull his Barn will be stained a dark red....

Now.......WILLOW update!! she is a trooper. she did so well during the surgery and waking up from the anesthesia they called us to come in for a visit to see Willow she wagged and wagged her tail and tried to stand up...They said she could come home with us since they saw how happy she was to see us...The said they normally wouldn't let an animal go home the same day with that type pf surgery but she seemed well enough and gave us strict directions for her before we took her home.. we wrapped her up in a baby blanket and she sat with Brad on the way home...she was like taking care of a new born baby...we got up with her during the night to help her with her pain, carried her outside all hours pf the night to go potty and to make sure she was comfortable in her crate. she loves her crate. we let he hop around the house a little but if she sees the door of her crate open she will hop on in and lay down... she knows it is her safe resting place. we took the lampshade thingy off. she has not even tried to lick her incision at all...she lets me apply a warn compress to it and clean it... she is taking this well and is such a good lil patient.

I counted 20 stitches...thats a big incision for a lil Puggy

Whitney and Daddy giving her Loves

she was shaking so bad when i was taking these pictures....she was so weak...she only sat like this for a short time...Poor lil baby.

Here she is at home resting in her Crate.... Brad had her up on the bed in her crate lastnight watching tv together.... this is his nighttime Buddy and he thought she'd like to still have their tv time together so her carried her up into the bed in her crate....

HaPpY Mothers Day

I hope all you Mothers Out there had a wonderful Mothers day! Mine was nice.... slept in and then went to see my Mother for a few minutes just before I had to Bring Whitney to get her Hair Cut...then we went to the Backside Inn for a Mothers Day Brunch. then Spent the rest of the day around the house and a trip to Home-Depot to but Bark Mulch and hanging plants.
Last night we went to Olive Garden for Dinner and got a Bracelet I have been wanting for years. For Mothers Day I was treated to Anthony Toepfers Jewelry to get my PANDORA Bracelet. I let the kids pick out a charm to add and I picked one out myself. Now when ever a special something happens or Birthday or Holiday I can pick ( or someone else) a charm to add to it.

Here are the Charms I have to get started....a Bird ( in memory of my Grandpap) a Horseshoe, a pink glass bead,a horse ( Bull ) and a Fun stone with Pink Gems... there are so many I want but it is not mean to just go and Buy them all at once....it is meant to buy for a meaning and a few at a time....I will post it as It grows with new charms along with their meaning.......
I also recieved 2 handmade cards from Whitney and a very nice Card from Tori she picked out and bought all on her own...I had a very nice Mothers day...
I hope all you Mothers out there did as well!

First it was Belle...Now it is Willow's turn

Willow will be going in for Surgery on may 15th . She has a Luxation Patella and it is really starting to bother her.... We went through the same surgery with Belle (Click Here) and the out come is Great...so Im optimistic this will be the best for Willow... she has been hopping around not wanting to use her left back left for a few weeks now. She has been favoring her leg off and on for a good 6 months and we have been treating her with Desaquin and Metacam....we gave that a fair chance so now is time to go and do the surgery...we did wonders for Belle!
