On September 5, 2008 I gave birth to 4 beautiful babies Samantha, Bridgette, Theodore "Teddy" and Madeline. Nine days later on September 14, 2008 Madeline was called to Heaven. So begins my journey of raising my Quadruplets as Triplets. They will always be my Quads!!

Reflux

The kids came home on whats called reflux status. Samantha is actually on some stronger reflux medications now, she takes Prevacid, it tastes icky and they can not add flavor to it. So far I have been able to get her to take when she is hungry before a feed, I give her a little stick the pacifier in and then continue until she gets her dose.

Here are photos of the kids in their Danny Slings. The crib mattress is angled at 30 degrees and the Danny Sling holds them in place so they do not slide to the bottom of the crib.

The sheets in the cribs I made the night before they came home. I made 6, the crib mattresses are the size of a portable crib mattress but as thick as a regular crib mattress and I could not find sheets to fit them. I made 6 in about 2 hours. They are not perfect but work. I will have to make more in the near future.

Bottle Feedings

What do we do when we have no volunteers to keep the babies on schedule here are a couple of examples.

The 5AM Feed

The keen observer may notice the pink bib on Teddy, yes it does say "Little Princess". Teddy says "Real Men Wear Pink." :)

The Daddy Feed

Alexis wanted to be in the pictures, she does not really suck her thumb she was being silly. :)

Formula & Diapers

I feel like the whole feeding and changing is a never ending process with 3 babies and of course a toddler (in diapers) and a 5 year old who needs to be fed. So I thought it would be fun to share some photos of how many diapers and formula we go through, and here they are.

Okay so here are the diapers we go through in a day, sometimes 30 for the babies and 7 for the toddler, so up 37 diapers a day wow!!!

Here are the bottles we go through in a day!!!

And the approximate amount of formula in a week!!!

The reason for it all!!

So Well worth it all!!!! :)

Here is Teddy's crib.

Another view of Teddy's crib by doorway.

Bridgette's crib, the lovely closet turned into changing station. Samantha's crib right next to her.

Bridgette & Samantha's cribs next to each other.

Samantha's crib next to large dresser.

The window, you can see the dresser that is next to Samantha and the chair next to Teddy.
