So I don't normally do this, but I really want this tote

I am hosting an online/catalog Thirty-one party. The Customer August specials are awesome. I am hoping to get enough sales to get this really neat hostess gift ($200), the XXL utility Tote set.

My little athlete

Alexis has not played soccer since her summer after Kindergarten. So she is playing this year. She is having fun. Here are some fun pictures of her at one of her games.

Minnesota Zoo

The kids had a blast at the Minnesota Zoo. We did not even get to see all of the attractions, so glad I decided to get the annual membership, we will be able to enjoy it again and again!!

Walking with Bridgette's Godmother "Aunt" Helen. Helen and Jon do this Zoo trip every year and this was the first we were able to make it. There were probably close to 30 of us in the group. Helen has been one of my best friends for 19 years.

I think that leopard is hoping for lunch.

A;exis had a great conversation with the prairie dogs, she had one looking at her talking back.

Happy 4th of July

Alexis danced in our local parade with a group from her dance studio. Olivia got to ride on the float and I handed out fliers. It was hot, hot, hot that day so Don stayed home with the triplets.

The girls in the parade did such a nice job and did it with a smile on their faces.

Madeline

Our sweet Madeline Jean, had 8 very good days in the NICU. By day 3 Maddie had moved to high flow nasal cannulas for breathing, she was taking feeds and as spunky as ever. On day 8 she became ill, her stomac became enlarged, she was critcal, on day 9 the Doctors took a look inside and found all of her intestines and half of her stomac had died. We had her baptised and held her, as soon as she was in my arms skin to skin with me, we removed her breathing assistance and let her go very quickly and peacefully. We would later find that the cause of her death was NEC (Necrotizing Entrocolitis). We feel blessed to have had her for 9 days.
