On September 5, 2008 I gave birth to 4 beautiful babies Samantha, Bridgette, Theodore "Teddy" and Madeline. Nine days later on September 14, 2008 Madeline was called to Heaven. So begins my journey of raising my Quadruplets as Triplets. They will always be my Quads!!

Teddy's Bedroom

Well of course Teddy also would like his room shared as well. For a few months Alexis bunked up with him. And now that her bedroom is finished he wants to show off his.

Standing in the doorway, we can see his Jr. Loft bed, he will eventually get a higher loft bed, this one will do just fine for the next few years. He has a nice seating area for reading. And bright green walls, a color his dad and him chose last summer.

I like an open closet, all of my kids rooms have no closet doors.

Off to the left of his bed is his desk. He LOVES to draw and write, this desk fits perfect in his small space. He found it at the local thrift store, sat in it and said "please Mommy?". How can I say no to those adorable brown eyes?

We are going to add a trophy shelf to the wall and that green and yellow thing with the pegs. I also have a few other ideas for updating his room. My plan is to get updating done when Teddy and his sisters go to Kindergarten this Fall.

I remember all too well when it was full of toddler beds and when it was the nursery.

Samantha and Bridgette's bedroom

Even though the room still needs some work and will get an update when the girls head off to Kindergarten this Fall, they wanted their room shared as well.

Here is a view of their little seating area. Both girls love to sit in those chairs and read books. They are very excited to be going to Kindergarten in the Fall.

My plan is to have a bunk bed for the girls by this Fall sometime. Not having to pull Bridgette's bed out for her to sleep on every night will be a relief.

I am also hoping to get 2 dressers that will fit side by side in the space where Samantha's dresser is. (The dresser with the hutch) They will each need to be less than 36" wide and hopefully not more than about 40" tall. I will look at garage sales and the local thrift store for those.

That door behind Bridgette's dresser, is the new entry into our attic. Eventually it will be an extended area added for play to Samantha and Bridgette's bedroom. Hopefully it will temporarily serve as storage space until our next remodel project is finished. It does need its frame put on and a door knob that locks with a key. It is not a safe area for play yet!!

And here is a look in from the doorway.

Well hopefully this Fall I will post the new updated pictures, once it is redone.

Thanks for checking in on us.

Pink and Yellow 7 year old girls bedroom

My 7 year old was super excited for her very own bedroom. She wanted pink and since she is sassy we decided pink on the ceilings and in the closet and yellow on the walls. This is a picture when they were still painting the remodel.

She needs a seating area and we found the perfect zebra print chairs and added pink accent pillows to match the ceiling and closet. We also painted her dresser pink with leftover wall color.

This view shows the dresser and seating area before curtains and bed came in. I am currently painting a trophy shelf pink to hang above her dresser.

This is the bed that her and her older sister shared. She gets both pieces so she has a place for friends to sleep over. I painted the drawer faces with leftover wall color to match.

Closet view. Her rug is sitting in her closet we have to wait 2 weeks before putting down on her hardwood floors.

Looking into her room.

Here is what the seating area will look like with the rug on the floor. She was so anxious to do something in her room before it was finished, so I had set the chairs up for a weekend.

Still needs a few finishing touches, but she is super happy with it. Much more space than what her and Alexis shared as their temporary bedroom, see that here: http://qbrat.blogspot.com/2013/02/new-temporary-big-girls-bedroom.html.

Cool Aqua Blue 10 Year old Girls Bedroom

Finally my oldest has her very own bedroom. We carefully selected a color palette and planned it out.

The loft bed is a double loft bed from Ikea, so if a friend stays over she could sleep in the bed with her. Otherwise that pink seat under the bed fold out into a sleeper.

Here is a nice visiting area under the bed. Even her ventriliquist dummy is there, he really freaks me out!!

This is a picture of the closet after the built ins were put in.

This view shows her book shelve, and part of her corner seating area.

Her dresser & Trophy self. Also can see her side table and chair in the corner. Her dresser will need some fresh paint an knobs replaced.

I found this old antique desk at the thrift store. This summer I plan to sand it down and paint it the darker aqua color on the main walls. We planned for the desk to go into the closet, so there is a computer hookup and outlet behind the desk.

So proud of her new bedroom!!

Sleep over in big sisters room.

closet lit up.

Alexis LOVES her new room. She has alot more space than the temporary room her and Olivia shared, see that here: http://qbrat.blogspot.com/2013/02/new-temporary-big-girls-bedroom.html .
