Christmas in Ruidoso, NM

We spent Christmas this year at Geoff's parents' cabin in Ruidoso. It snowed the day before we got there about 6-8 inches. It was very beautiful. The cabin on the right is Uncle Steve's. This creek runs through the canyon.

Our faithful pup, Paigie, looking at the winter wonder she is not used to.

Aubry and I tried to make a snowman but the snow was too powdery. Both kids lasted about 20 minutes, wimps.

Cousins Case and Annie, crazy people on their sleds. They are tough and stayed out forever.

Thanksgiving at Sarah's

We met at Sarah's for the first time for thanksgiving dinner. Her house is beautiful and we can't wait to spend much family time there. We have dreams of "camp Nana" during the summers =)

Our trip to Portland

We went to Portland last weekend to visit Greg and Kerry and had a wonderful time. Portland was beautiful and it was so fun to hang out with Uncle Mumpies and Aunt Kerry!

We went straight from the airport to the snow! The kids LOVED it.

Grey's "cold" face.

Hot cocoa and donuts, my favorite. The donut is the biggest one i've ever seen, as big as Grey's head!

Depoe Bay on the coast.
While the grown ups were wine tasting...

Halloween/Reformation Day!

I am looking forward to the day when I can teach my kids about the significance of Reformation Day but until then it's Happy Halloween!
Aubry's dress up princess stuff became her costume. I didn't know the princess stuff happened this young but she is obsessed. The shoes lasted about 5 feet.
Someone asked Grey is he was a beaver. Um, no.

trick or treat! We had to teach Grey some halloween etiquette because he was going nuts on the bowls of candy, greedy greedy greedy.

After hitting several houses we got a lift home from Jessica who had to pick up Ben and Hazel from across the neighborhood. If you saw the hills you wouldn't judge =)

Good sport daddy!

Hazel, Aubry and Grey. Chief, Hazel's Jack Russel, had on a little saddle and went trick or treating with her. They were voted "best costume" by several neighbors.
