That’s right, all the fun of Super Saturday, jammed into one THRILLING THURSDAY night. Come, make, relax, have dinner. No stress and it won’t eat up an entire weekend.
Thursday, October 25th
6:00 pm
A delicious buffet of soups will be provided for when you get hungry.
Here are the three projects we’ll be offering. Sign up at church or by contacting Alie T.
Chrysanthemum Pillow
Come learn how to make a pillow for your couch or bedroom, to keep for yourself or to give away. You can purchase a new one to add felt to, or spice up an old pillow you have sitting around. Pillows are a fun way to add color to your house.

WHAT YOU NEED: pillow (covered as you desire), 1 yard felt, wood button (optional), 10-20 straight pins, hot glue gun with extra hot glue sticks.
Wooded Nativity
With Christmas around the corner come learn how to make a tiny Nativity to display on a bookshelf or hang from your Christmas Tree. This is a great opportunity to make something fun to get you ready for the Christmas season.
WHAT YOU NEED: Nothing – we’ll supply the necessary materials. Please plan on
making no more than two so we have enough supplies for everyone.
Kanzashi Flowers
Learn how to make Japanese folded flowers to decorate your hair, add to a purse
or jacket or create a wall hanging! We’ll walk though the steps for two easy to fold patterns and you’ll be making your own gorgeous flowers right away.
If you like origami you’ll feel right at home.
Even if you hate to fold the laundry, you’ll still love kanzashi!
This is a stash buster project – bring the fabric that you love but don’t have enough to do anything with.
WHAT YOU NEED: 2″ or 3″ squares of light cotton fabric (calico works beautifully). 6 to 8 squares per flower. Bring enough for two flowers, minimum. One button per flower, Sharp Straight Pins (a dozen is good), Needle, Quilting or other strong thread, Optional – hot glue gun
