Maxwell is one and has lots of fun
Even though he can't crawl, walk or run
He loves his bottle and his binky too
Forget the sippy cup - he'll just throw it at you
Mamma and gagga but he doesn't say dadda
He sits and he plays and crys wahhhha
Cheerios, applesauce, bannanas and bread
He is not content unless he is fed
Max loves to smile, play and laugh
His favorite time is taking a bath
Happy Birthday dear Max
We love you so much!

I've been Tagged!!! I guess this is what I get for not blogging in 25 days!
A: The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B: Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C: At the end of the post, the player then tags 3 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
10 years ago: I was 20. Living in Utah, going to school, hanging out and having fun.
5 things on my to-do list today (well actually tomorrow):
1. Clean the bathrooms
2. Book our tickets for Disneyland in April
3. Figure out what I am going to do for Max's 1st Bday
4. Put up the Valentine decorations
5. Make Chicken Parmigian for dinner
Snacks I enjoy: Chocolate. Brownies, Icecream, popcorn
What I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire: Buy my dream home. Vacation around the world. Have Ryan retire. Invest, save, and donate.
3 of my bad habits:
1. I don't really have bad habits that I am aware of.
2. So if you know of any let me know.
3. There are definitely things I want to improve but aren't bad habits.
5 places I have lived: (Well I could list the 20+ places I have lived but instead I will just list the 5 most interesting places)
1. Phillippines
2. Northern Virginia (just outside D.C.)
3. San Diego, CA
4. Idaho Falls, ID
5. Rhode Island
5 jobs that I have had:
1. Sandwich Artist (Subway)
2. Technical Recruiter for Volt Services
3. Conference Service Manager for Hotel Madera
4. Technical Support person for the Administration Building at BYU
5. Mom - the hardest but most rewarding job ever
5 Things people don't know about me:
1. I hate calling people on the phone. Especially when it is someone I don't know.
2. I love Math and used to be very good at it. :)
3. I very rarely leave comments on peoples blogs even though I read them weekly
4. I'm a computer geek (whatever that means)
5. I want to have another baby girl (eventually) but I never ever want to be pregnant again.
I'm not sure who to tag b/c a very similar version went around to all my blogging friends recently. So I tag whoever wants to do this survey and post it on their blog :)

Latest Updates
It has been a while since my last post. We ventured down to Utah the first part of January. Ryan had some clients to visit and the rest of us went to hang out with family. It was one of those trips where I had a bad feeling from the beginning but I let Ryan talk me into going. The drive down was long because of snowy and icy roads. Then Maxwell got some sort of stomach flu and was vomiting for 6 days. Ellie also came down with a fever and both Ryan and I got colds. Everything that I had planned to do while in Utah got cancelled or didn't work out. Needless to say I was anxious to get home. We left really early for the 12 hour drive back to Oregon but got stuck at the Utah state line because I-84 was closed because of high winds. Yes, CLOSED! After waiting 4 hours and driving back to the nearest town we were told of a alternative route that would take us through some farm land and up to Twin Falls. Eventually we made it back home. Maxwell finally recovered just in time for Caden to get the stomach flu. :)
Since we have been home we have just been hanging out and trying to get everyone healthy and back on schedule. Ryan and I got a sitter and went out to the movies this Friday. We saw National Treasure 2. It was entertaining and fun to have an evening out.
Ryan was speaking in another ward today so we all went with him. It was kind of fun to go to a different ward and see people I don't always get to see. Caden was really noisy though and I was embarrassed taking him out into the hall 2x. Luckily we were sitting behind one of my friends so she was able to take care of Max while I was dealing with Caden.
We got about another foot of snow today. It seems we have been having a lot of winter weather this year. I regret not getting snow and ice tires and am pretty much stuck at home til the roads clear up a bit. Hopefully, everything won't ice over like it did last time.
Thats pretty much been my January. Maxwell turns 1 on the 30th. I have a YW activity that I am in charge of that night so I didn't even plan a party for him. Maybe I will pull something together for this weekend.

Happy New Year!
Tuesday, January 1, 2008
2007 went by so fast. It is hard to believe 2008 is already here. I think back to last New Year's Eve when I was 9 months pregnant and living in Utah. Now Maxwell is almost one and we are back in Bend. 2007 proved to be a good year. Everyone was healthy and happy and the kids just keep growing and getting more fun. We hope 2008 is even better. We have some fun family vacations planned and are excited for Maxwell to walk and talk. We hope to get Caden fully potty trained the first part of this year and hope to get Ellie into Kindergarten this Fall. (She missed the deadline so we have to petition.) We hope to accomplish some financial goals and I want to get rid of the last of the baby weight once and for all.
We wish everyone a Healthy, Happy, and Prosperous 2008!
