Coupon Sense

Ok, I'm so proud of this last transaction from CVS and Bashas. I got all this stuff on my counter for about $8 total. The eggs were $3 and the rest of the items were $5. On this one transaction I saved over $230!! Crazy huh! And I walked away with $38 dollars in ECB (extra care bucks, some from previous transaction). I was so excited about this, this one transaction is totally worth all the time put in for Coupon Sense. I can now go and sell these "blood glucose monitors" and make even more money! (we'll see if I ever do, does anyone need one? As you can see in my pantry I have many to spare.) So here are some pictures of my pantry, with all my "good buys", and believe it or not the cereal and brownies, toothbrushes, toothpaste etc. is half of what it usually is, we give it away alot...we don't want anything going bad. And I love giving it away
because the majority of it is FREE! I LOVE COUPON SENSE!

Brody Matson's Birthday Party

A week ago I watched Crystal's kids, Dean and Brixley, and we went to Breilyn's friend, Brody's 5th birthday party. They had it at Marley Park's splash park, which was nice because it was SO HOT that day. So the water was a nice cool down. The kids had a lot of fun. They had some water games like water balloon tosses and fights and a relay of who could fill up the water bucket the highest. We also had a yummy BBQ, which started off with the cupcakes because they were melting all over from the heat. So the kids really liked that. We had a lot of fun, thanks Matsons!

Lake Pleasant with the Stevensons

Here we are at Lake Pleasant with the Stevenson's on their boat.
We had so much fun wake boarding, surfing and tubing. The little one's did so good on the tube, Ben went pretty fast and they were all able to stay on. On the other hand, the boys weren't so lucky. Gavin got tossed the most. I can't believe they didn't get concussions, they flew in the air! It was a little scary, but so much FUN!! Even if we were quite a bit sore the next day..or two..or three. :) Thanks so much Ben and Sarah, we had a blast!!

Phoenix Zoo

Another free pass from the Libraries Cultural pass, we went to the Phoenix Zoo. I'm usually not too excited about this zoo, but today all the animals were out and fun to watch. It was a good day at the zoo.

Natural Museum of History

In June we went to another "free" museum from the Cultural pass from the Library. This is the Natural Museum of History in Mesa. It has lots of dinosaurs and facts and facts about ancient day Indians, cowboys, prisons, movies...etc. It was pretty interesting. We even got to pan for gold, which we did pretty good at....only if it were real. :)

Preschool Graduation (year #1)

Thursday was Preschool Graduation for Breilyn. It was so cute to watch, all the kids had hand made hats and all. They filed in a line and sat in their seats, then were called up one by one to receive their "diploma". They stood up on a stand and were asked four questions: What is your name? What is your favorite color? What is your favorite food? What do you want to be when you grow up? And Breilyns answers were, pink, noodles (of course, she tood after her mom with an addiction to ramon noodles!) and a princess. It was so cute and fun to hear all their answers. I can't believe she is already done with preschool this year, she is growing up too fast! But since her birthday is in October, she has another year of preschool...which means another year at home with me. :) Which is more than ok with me.
